That 'other' board for brides at Disney

I have registered for that 'other' site and haven't really frequented it much, but enjoy some of the information I get from there. However, in the past week I have received 3 junk mail forwards from the director of the board. This, to me, is pretty annoying. I signed up to get information about Disney weddings, not to get junk mail about origami. I looked on the site for a place to unsubscribe, but I can't find it. Does anyone know how to do that?

Thanks :) :)

(If you are unsure of which site I am referring to, I can PM you. I just don't want to publicly insult another site.)

If you are that concerned about emails, why don't you just block the user. I guess I dont see the point in coming on here when it is as simple as a block or simply emailing the director and asking for them to stop. Or, just erase them.

I have recieved the same emails. I think you can email the director and ask to be deleted.

I don't think it was neccesary to make this a topic. All you have to do is just let the moderator know that you don't want the e-mails and I'm sure they would be more than happy to not include you in them.

Thanks! I looked and didn't see anywhere where I could do that. That's why I posted this on here. I apologize if it was inconvenient for someone to read. I'll keep searching.

ETA: I'm guessing someone from that board saw this thread because I went to go see if I could figure out how to email them and now my log-in is no longer working. Works for me :) Thanks to those of you who actually tried to be helpful ;)

SRUAlum.... As I am sure you remember my previous thread about "That other boards" and how the thread eventually got locked.... A very sensative subject. This DISboard is a place to share common interests and opinions. And I know why you asked this question. We here are a community :grouphug: and you can post about dog poop and pigs ears if you want :)

I know that. I couldn't find a way to contact the moderator. I searched the site and didn't know how to contact them. I was asking on here to see if anyone else was a member and perhaps knew where to find the information.

Thanks for understanding I wasn't trying to stir up trouble. I was under the impression too that we are a community who can vent to each other and ask each other ANYTHING. Thanks for the love! :grouphug:

Really there is no need to so ugly about it. If it bothers you, block them from your email and don't participate in that board. (If you weren't able to participate it is because you didn't complete the appropriate steps.) Simple as that. Good luck to you.
