That Foo's Boo Is Incredible!!! - Jan 14 TR *THE END 7/19 Pg. 51*

Aw man, I'm so sorry your Mom wasn't feeling well! I can't imagine being that sick on a disney vacation, like, I'd feel horrible and like I was missing so much if I didn't go out, I wouldn't want to stay put at all!! Erg. I hope she feels much better soon!!

Epcot looks like a fun morning, depsite it being cold! SS is my favorite place for breakfast, simply because it is cheaper than the France bakery, lol!!

I've been that sick on vacation before, and believe it, it's one of the worst things you can actually go through.

It was cold, but it was still a fun day. The trick was just to bundle up.

Mmmm. I tend to be a quick breakfast eater on Disney trips. Something really quick from the food court is just fine. EXCEPT when going to Epcot. How can one resist the call of Sunshine Seasons???

Oh you cannot turn down a 20 minute wait for Soarin'. It would just be flat out wrong to do that. :goodvibes

I can't resist Sunshine Seasons either! There's something about it that just draws me in every time.

Okay, let me backtrack! I loved Rip Ride Rockit! But I was expecting it to scare me to death more and once we got past the initial drop, I wasn't scared to death. So since I didn;t die from fear, I think it left me a little disappointed! The Hulk didn't scare me to death but it turned out to be more than I expected, so that was the reason I loved The Hulk more than Rip Ride but just because of my initial reaction. Had I got to ride each more than once, my perspective might very well have changed...you know, first impressions and all! ;)

I remember your mom being sick and being so fresh from our trip at that time, I felt so bad for her...being sick stinks but being sick on vacation really stinks!!

Great finds on your trip to DTD and that sundae did look to die for!!

I really did like the ease to make changes so easily and quickly with MDE! That was kind of sweet!!

Aahhhh, that makes sense. Yeah, having expectations for something and then not having them met, sometimes it can make a difference.

The ability to make changes is really the best thing about MDE. I'm definitely a fan.

I don't like being sick...but to be sick at WDW is no fun at all. Glad that I did stay in the room and rested up.

I agree completely.

Loved your outfit and makeup!!Too sad Mom was under the weather !!I think I may try kids breakfasts next month , the bounty platter is way too much for me !! Standbye for Soarin ' is great !!!!!

I know, it was a shame that she was feeling so badly.

Oh yes, definitely kids breakfasts! In my world you get two things. 1) They're a whole lot cheaper and 2) Perfect portion size.

I'm really enjoying your TR!! You're parents are awesome and I love your dads smile!! I also wish I could do eye shadow like you!! Thanks so much for sharing your trip! Can't wait to read more!!

Thanks so much! I love having new people come along for the ride.

The trick to the eyeshadow honestly is just trial and error. I also watch bloggers on YouTube to get inspiration and tricks. I've often done some looks that don't turn out at all the way that I anticipate them to.

Just wanted to jump in and say that I'm enjoying your trip reports. Looks like you have a great family that loves hanging out together!

Leave it to Yeti to find the barf bag. :rotfl2:

Great makeup!

Bummer that your mom was still feeling like crap but she did the right thing staying home.

Note to self - ride Soarin on a cold day in the FP line. Score on the no crowds.

Aw poor Momma :( It was definitely the right call for her to stay in since it was so cold, but it's still a huge bummer.

Obviously I love your sweatshirt too. And your makeup looks awesome! I knew it was Donald right away.

I'm craving a Disney breakfast so much right now. That cheese danish looks great.

20 minutes is a great wait for Soarin'! Patrick is the best.

If Yeti wasn't such a lush, he wouldn't be puking on Mission: Space...just sayin' :rotfl:

Thank you so much! We really love spending time together. I'm very fortunate.

Hahaha, that Yeti. Always doing something stupid.

Absolutely! There were not many people in Epcot that morning. I was really surprised that even after we ate our breakfast the line was so short.

I think it was the right call, but I do know she was bummed out about it.

Of course you love my sweatshirt! It's a great one.

Cheese danish is amazing. Ugh, the Disney cheese danishes are my absolute favorite.

I agree completely with your assessment of Yeti.

I started reading your trip report because we were at WDW the same week in January but I had to go back and read your previous report because I find your style very entertaining. Your family seems fun and your younger newphew just cracks me up!!

I hope when my daughter is an adult she still loves coming to Disney and having fun with her parents they way you do!

PS...we were at Epcot the same day, we just didn't get there until noon when we did the Epcot Seas Aqua tour.

Getting caught up again so I need to go back to your Universal day...nice job supporting the Packers (Go Pack!) see what is got you? You scored! That was nice of "Chris".

WPE - YUM! Your dad's meatloaf looks good but the spaghetti and meatballs - oh my gosh. They make me want to go out and have me some Italian with some chianti right now. :thumbsup2 Seriously, does WPE serve anything that's not tasty?

Awwwww that was so sweet of your dad to purchase the Dooney bag as a get well gift for your mom. Heck if my hubby did stuff like that I'd be ill on a weekly basis. Your mom's reaction was touching. Sorry she felt bad but you can't help it when you're sick. You are a good daughter to take care of her so well.

Loved all your purchases - especially the HM phone cover. I didn't know Disney made the pliable phone cases. I have a Minnie one that is hard and already has a chip out of it.

43 is FREEZING in my book. Brrrr I'd be bundled in a coat and scarf.

Your Donald inspired make-up is awesome!!! Great job!

Yeah, I've never gone on Soarin' on standby yet either! You're right, that 20 minute wait time is hard to resist!

I love Patrick's intro video for Soarin', or as I continue to call him Puddy. I hope he stays as a fixture even if and when Disney updates Soarin'. Did you hear that rumors are swirling about that they are filming scenes for the new updated version that will be different from the one at DL? I read that the Epcot version will be scenes from all around the World and ends with scenes from MK and Epcot! Can't wait!

Ok so I just found this TR and read it all the way through and so far I love it! Its so great you bring Yeti and take pictures of him in the parks. Also your makeup is fantastic! I wish I was that good; I've only just figured out that putting on powder stops shiny-ness :rotfl2: I hope your mum felt better and I'm looking forward to the next instalment.

Great Pics from US. Sorry Mom wasn't feeling well. It stinks that she felt so bad.

Great haul at DTD. So funny about your sundae and the CMs.

An empty EPCOT on a chilly morning. :cloud9: Not so much the chilly part but the empty part. :rotfl:

Coming out of hiding. I've read all your TR's and just thought I would finally comment. (the instragram follower :p)
I'm loving your makeup. Wish I was any good at it. I hope your mom picked up before the end bless her. Feeling like we may have to take a trip to the darkside on our next trip. Huge Harry Potter fan so it needs to happen at some point!

Thank you so much.

I love traveling with my parents. I travel with other friends and family as well, but the P's are my go to folks. :goodvibes

That's awesome that you were on the tour! I love hearing when people are at the park I am at the same time.

Supporting my team definitely got me something good that day.

I really don't think that WPE serves anything that's not tasty. I have never had a bad meal there.

I felt terrible that she was feeling so badly. I know I've been sick on vacation a few times, and I know how she's been with me. I wanted to return the favor.

I had no idea the phone cover was pliable when I bought it. I was planning on getting it regardless and was definitely pleasantly surprised when it was pliable.

43 can be balmy depending on the weather here. :lmao: But it was a little chilly that day.

Yeah, I've never gone on Soarin' on standby yet either! You're right, that 20 minute wait time is hard to resist!

Since I've seen it at 20 minutes so rarely, I really couldn't resist waiting in standby.

I call him Puddy too. LOL. He's one of my favorite parts of the ride. I had heard the rumors about the new updated version they're supposed to be filming. I think it needs to be updated definitely. Although, what I think will happen is what happens all the time Disney changes something. You'll then get the moaners and groaners that complain about the change.

Hahaha, too funny about the makeup. It's been years and years of practice, and a lot of trial and error that's gotten me as far as I've come with my makeup.

Great Pics from US. Sorry Mom wasn't feeling well. It stinks that she felt so bad.

We felt terrible for her that day. I've definitely been there before.

I felt like I was going to get attacked for my sundae! It was hysterical.

The chilly wasn't so bad. I definitely loved the fact that it was empty, so I'll take the chilly.

Coming out of hiding. I've read all your TR's and just thought I would finally comment. (the instragram follower :p)

Thanks for coming out of lurkdom! And for following on Instagram. :goodvibes

She did start feeling better later on. This day I think was the worst ofr her.

You definitely need to go to the dark side if you're a fan of Harry Potter. It's a must do.

thank you so much for all of the get well wishes, I eventually did feel better it did take some time though I have to admit.

I'm also one who likes kids meal. The portions are perfect for me. I often feel like I'm wasting so much food with adult portions.

LOVE your whole look for the day! Awesome Donald make-up! (I'm especially a fan of the red "bowtie!"
Oh your poor mother! I'm so sorry to hear she was feeling down again. I'm sure the rest did her some good.

Yes I live in the Midwest. No, I don't like cold.

Too funny, I say the same thing except swap Midwest for Atlantic Canada. :rotfl:

I also love kids meals. I'm almost always on the dining plan which means adult portions for me, and I waste so much. But you make a good point -- the variety isn't the greatest! We were looking at kids' menus for the first time ever this year for our upcoming trip... chicken nuggets... chicken nuggets everywhere!

Sweet of you to re-schedule your Soarin' FP so your mom didn't miss out and karma rewarded you with a 20 minute standby time! Can't beat that!

Quick question what did you think of sleeping on the sofa bed? Was it comfy?

I feel that way with adult meals too. The only time I don't is if it's something I really really want. :lmao:

LOVE your whole look for the day! Awesome Donald make-up! (I'm especially a fan of the red "bowtie!"

I had the red lipstick, so I figured it would be worth it to do his bow tie.

Some rest did do her good, it was definitely needed for her. I was glad that we pushed the issue.

We don't do the dining plan anymore, because I can't justify the cost of it with the quantity of food I eat. I just can't eat what they give. :rotfl2:

Quick question what did you think of sleeping on the sofa bed? Was it comfy?

So they were new rooms at Saratoga, which meant it was a new couch. The new sofa beds aren't even a technical mattress, but I found it comfortable because it was more consistent that the sofa bed mattresses tend to be. A little on the hard side, but that seemed to work for me. I will admit though, it may not be for everyone.
