What is it like over Thanksgiving? Is it as crowded as the summer? Thinking of a big family week. some have never been and don't want to turn them off to the big crowds. Any thoughts?
We will be there and I am SO excited... Planning to do most of our park visiting the days before Turkey Day and take it easy Thursday and Friday... We are having Thansgiving dinner at Boma -- not "traditional" but still our favorite!
colleen: You will have to let us know how it is. Our plan is to do Thanksgiving 2004. That way we can take advantage of Annual Passes from this year's Christmas trip.
I'll post once we are home! We usually go at Spring Break or summertime, so we'll do fine -- we are used to hot weather and crowds! We take it slow and use fasttpass a lot and usually do just fine. We are lazy and don't go to the parks every day, anyhow.
What can really vary in Novemeber is the weather. I am packing a little of everything! Once back I will fill you in. We've never been at Thanksgiving before -- one of the joys of DVC is these "extra" trips!
I plan to find out real soon. We just got back this afternoon from our first trip to BWV and second to F&W and are looking forward to our trip in just over 3 weeks to VWL on Thanksgiving Day. We just haven't decided where to eat dinner at. Then Fri and Sat in the parks, maybe, it will be my 4 month old DD first trip to the world and I can think of nothing more thankful than her and celebrating it there. I hope it's a little cool since we will be at VWL and want to see the lights.

We will be there, too during that time! We are taking BIL and his sons with his new wife and stepdaughter, MIL and SIL. We are hoping to get a grand villa and a studio for the trip.
We have been there over Thanksgiving before and that weekend is packed and lines were long but that was before fast passes.
We are excited because BIL's new wife and stepdaughter have never been to WDW and we always do a big family bash when BIL has his sons over Thanksgiving. Last year, we did Sedona; the next time WDW!!!!!!! Can't wait!!!!!!!
We thought if we arrived the Friday BEFORE T-Giving and departed the Friday after T-Giving, we could go to the parks every day except Weds and Thurs, which I hear are horrendous.
