We had done Disney back in 2008 when the boys were very young - did UO for 1 day but the focus was more on Disney.
Now that they are older ( 11 & 13) we want to go back to UO - they love Harry Potter, and the rides are a big attraction. Shows not so much. DH is a HUGE fan of Star Wars, and the boys are too, thanks to him - so apparently one day MUST be set aside for Hollywood Studios.
So here is what I am thinking - can you tell me what you think?
* Nov 25 - drive to Orlando from Raleigh. Check in to offsite hotel near Disney
* Nov 26 - Hollywood Studios. Stay overnight in same offsite hotel
* Nov 27 - Check in to RPR or similar ( Preferably club level) early
* Nov 27 & 28 - Do both parks. Focus on rides only. Take advantage of the early entrance on the 28th to do DA; and with Express Pass for the other places, we will be able to complete both parks.
* Nov 29 - Check out and drive back home.
What are your thoughts?
Look forward to hearing from you so that I can make the reservations!!!

sounds like a plan..

make your ressie sooner than later.
not sure how the hotels fill up around that T day weekend.
book now and modify your rates if discounts come out later.

If money is no object, the one change I would consider making is changing the Disney ticket into a 1 day park hopper. DHS is mostly show and only 5 rides. You could hit up the rides and possibly Jedi Training fairly quickly then head out to another park for the rest of the day.

Or, once you are done at HS, you could check out of your hotel then check into RPR and have two ee days at UO. Enjoy the pool and Citywalk.

This is what I would do. Or I would visit Downtown Disney, before I would spend the money on a park hopper when you'll only have a few hours for another park.
