My son will be going down with his high school band from November 27 - December 3, and they will be playing in one of the parades. We plan to go down on our own with our 5-year-old who has never been to Disney, so we can watch our oldest play in the parade, but have time to spend with just the little guy on all his sized rides. I know Thanksgiving weekend will be crazy busy, but how about the following week? Our hope is that they would be playing either November 30, or December 1 or 2, so we would go down on November 29 and stay until December 5.

One of the better weeks.

I've done the week before Thanksgiving, the week of Thansgiving and the week after. Week after is really great and to be honest Thanksgiving week itself wasn't that bad for us this past Nov. At least it wasn't as bad as I was fearing. It's my favorite time of year to go. You'll have a great time!

We got every other year for the actual Thanksgiving week and with the FastPass + now, it's really not a problem. Do what you can and when you can do it and take the younger one's "limitations" to heart. If he needs a nap, make sure he gets one. But also make the older one's schedule a priority since that can't change either. Don't worry about the "rides", think about your children's schedule first. Then fill in everything else later.
