Thanksgiving Dinner

I know that someone had to ask this question before and I know it is kinda of early especially since you can only make dining ressies 90days out...but I just wanted to know your opinion...and since this is our first Thanksgiving trip every anywhere away from home...I just wanted to known....

Where do you think is the best place to have Thanksgiving Dinner?

it depends on what you want to eat for Thanksgiving. We were there for Thanksgiving in 2005 and will be there this year for it also. In 2005
Thanksgiving day was my DH bday so he wanted steak, we ate at The Concourse Steakhouse. Glad we did as it is no longer there. This year we will be eating at a place that does not serve the traditional turkey dinner - not that big on that.

We've did Spoodles 2005 and it was a good price with Thankgiving and menu Items. This year we went to the HDDR and the kids loved it.

Whatever you decide book as soon as your window opens up. Not just for Thanksgiving Day but anything that week.

BTW I am interested in traditional Thanksgiving since it will be our first time away from home...so I would like to make the transition as easy as possible

Bump- we'll be there Thanksgiving too and would love to hear previous experiences. BTW- we want to avoid MK Thanksgiving day!

We are fans of Chef Mickey's but we thought that the Thanksgiving offering there was not very good this past year.

In 2006 we had a buffet meal at the Swan & Dolphin that was wonderful. It was served in their conference center and it included tons of characters (Mickey & Minnie, Donald & Daisy, Chip & Dale, Lilo & Stich, Buzz & Woody).

We were in Disney in 2007 for Thanksgiving and ate at what is now known as The Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club.

We did the buffet lunch - don't remember if it was the same price as the dinner back then. The menu we had seems similar to the one they have for 2008. We probably ate lunch around 1:30. It was my myself my DH (DF at the time) and our dad's. As we were getting married in Disney in 2008 we used this time as our site visit for our wedding.

It was nice to eat early, this way we walked around the Yacht and Beach Club and the Boardwalk after dinner (to walk off the food). We then headed over to the GF to check out their holiday decorations and the Gingerbread House. Have a wonderful time this Thanksgiving.

You'll find traditional THanksgiving food just about everywhere including resort food courts.

We have done Boma 3 years in a row for Thanksgiving. They not only offer their full buffet menu but they also offer all of the traditional fixings like Sliced Turkey, Ham, Mashed potatoes, sweet potatoe casserole, etc....
