Thanksgiving Day?

Was anyone there Thanksgiving Day this year? Just wondering how busy it was. I told a friend not to go on Thanksgiving Day & she said it wasn't going to be busy in MK. I haven't heard from her yet but I'm thinking she was wrong.

I was in DHS a few years ago, on Thanksgiving Day.....it is not something I am likely to repeat, ever!!! Enough said.

I went last year, and it was very busy. Don't know why it would've been any different this year. Most families get the day off, right?

I was in the MK. It was very busy, but not as high as a Christmas crowd. The weather was stunning, and I had a great day. We watched the first MSEP and left after Wishes. I'm with a tour group, but I would gave loved to have stayed late, I bet that was great.

We just got home, spent Tgiving at Epcot. We were there at RD, were first to ride Soarin' pulled FPs to ride again. We got on mission, space, SOAT and living with the land before moving up through the WS. Had the tgiving buffet at the Biergarten (fun, but the food was so-so) and were back home to relax by 2pm. Crowds were def manageable with a good touring plan. Otherwise, nightmare.

Thanksgiving week is our favorite time to go.

We always go to either AK or DHS on thanksgiving day. We found AK to be the least crowded.

I went to HS on Monday night to see the Osborn Lights - based on the crowd levels then - I avoided WDW the rest of the week.

I think EP will be our choice this year (so far). The crowd calculators list it as one of the best choices. It will be our second EP day of the trip, so even if it is crowded, with it being our second day, we can do the kids' favorites and take it easy. If the crowds become unmanageable, there are always the pools at our hotel.
