THANKSGIVING 2008- Whos going and where are you eating?

What is left for Thanksgiving Day for character meals?? We have friends that didn't call till today and said everything with characters was sold out for Thanksgiving day??? I told her to try again later and everyday to see if someone cancels? What do you all think? They didn't want me to make ADRs at the time I did but I didn't think there would all none left so soon. They didn't want to be at MK on Thanksgiving day like us so they were shooting for CM or GG.

Well our friends went with Epcot and eating at DDD Thanksgiving evening.

My family also wanted a nontraditional Thanksgiving meal so it's Boma for us. Anyplace at the world would have been fine with us!

When did the hours come out for Thanksgiving? Are they different from Oct.?
Did that effect anyones eating plans for Thanksgiving?

We're eating at LTT at 6pm - same as last year - we loved Thanksgiving at the MK last year- we got here early - watched the Turkey parade then relaxed and people watched!

We start out @ Bibbidi Bobbidi 8:30 am then to Cinderella's Royal Table 10:00 am. Then for dinner Chef Mickey's @ 7:10 CANNOT WAIT!!!!

When we got there last year there was a parade at about 10am as the Turkey that was pardoned by the President was given to Disney - not sure if this is an annual event.

The Dreams Come True Parade is at 3pm with 2 spectromagics at 8pm & 10pm with Wishes at 9pm.

This might sound crazy but I'm cooking. We're having cornish hens, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and buying a pumpkin pie from the nearest bakery.

I was *this close* to deciding on an ADR at LTT but my 8yr old dd said it would feel weird to eat out for Thanksgiving. We're in a villa with a full kitchen. I can easily buy the ingredience for a simple menu.

We're staying at the resort all of Thanksgiving day. Though, we might go to a park for fireworks.

Those ADR's look great! When did you make those? I am just wondering if Disney saved some times for each day Thanksgiving week for later because I called on the first day I could and got some really great times and others were just a little earlier then I would have like.

I made most of them on the 180 day mark, May 26. Brown Derby I just got yesterday, it wasn't available when I first called and I have tried a couple times since then. CP on Nov 22, I just got that time changed a few days ago. I had a much earlier one than that until the calendars were updated in the Dining Reservatin system. I pretty much had my pick of times for everything except for Brown Derby. Boma I made a couple weeks ago and then called back a few days later to change the time, based on plan changes. I said I wasn't going to do that, but did. Thanks for looking over my list. I did a lot of research as we have never done many TS before.

We will be at Chef Mickey for Thanksgiving dinner. We eat there every other Thanksgiving (the other years we are at home...) can't wait, we leave in 57 days!!!!!

We´re eating Thanksgiving dinner at Restaurant Marrakesh in Epcot. Other than that we also have ADR´s for Coral Reef, Sci Fi diner, Crystal Palace, Boma, Kona, Tony´s, Maya Grill, Chef Mickey´s and Tusker .
