Thanksgiving 2007!!!

We sailed either Thanksgiving week or the week after in 02,03,04 and 05 and weather leaving home (Chicago burbs) is usually in the teens when we leave for the airport, so any weather is warm weather to us! LOL We usually had 1 REALLY windy day at sea and that day came with some waves...as a matter of fact I remember the pools overflowing on each sailing one day. But the Carribean was always 70's and 80's. east or West. CC's water was a little chilly when you first got in but once you got acclimated it was fine!
Thanks Lampskies - you are making us feel better with the past weather reports. Very cool link by the way!!!

I found this link in another post..............

Ron- Thanks for posting this link. CC is a lot bigger than I thought. You and Dubbya could easily hide out there after "missing" the ship and hiding in the airplane.

Frank- To further reassure you, I agree with what Lampy said about the weather. We live on the West Coast of Florida, and are used to warm water. The weather in the Caribbean in November is fine. The water is a little cool, but you do get used to it, and it is usually nice and warm outside. We had some nice sun everyday of the 2005 Thanksgiving cruise. Thanksgiving day was wonderful! My family and I sailed on the Wonder for the first part of Thanksgiving week in 2004, and the weather was nice then too. This past Thanksgiving, 2006, we camped at Ft. Wilderness in WDW. The weather was unusually cold that week, but according to Chuck and Lisa (IcemanPad), they had great weather for the cruise.

November is a great time to cruise!

I've been watching a lot of "castaway survival" movies lately and I think I pretty much have it figured out......Lobster and rainwater and some hops and barley and willie and I could survive FOREVER.......plus......the Wonder stops twice and the Magic AT LEAST once a week just gives us a few days to "survive" on our own!

Lampy- The only thing that makes me doubt you can do this is your Miller Lite intake requirement. If you can figure this out, then I know you can do it.

If the Wonder stops on Wednesday and Saturday, and The Magic on Friday, Willie and I already figured out that no KTTW cards are necessary....we proved that on CC last sailing.....did you look close at you bill TCD?! LOL Willie and I crawled in to belly of on of the planes and the drug smugglers had a "cooler" type contraption to store the drugs that we found. all we need is enough ice for Sunday thru Tuesday and we can "charge" enough bucket of beers to make it thru. Also, those big wash containers for the tubes and "floaties".......I think we can "acquire" on of those......I tasted it and that IS fresh water.......

All we need is a little internet hook up to have some fellow "disers" bring so cheeze wiz to help us fish for food......

.....did you look close at you bill TCD?!

I knew it!

All this time I thought it was Mrs. TCD and the kids boozing it up, and it was you and Willie! Man, you drink like a fish!

Drinking out of the wash containers? :scared1: That is gross!  I guess all that beer in your system protects you from germs and such.

I am worried about Willie.

It doesn't look like he has posted since before New Year's Eve.

I hope that he isn't in jail. He was saying that he was going to get drunk and have a big bonfire. OK, I added the get drunk detail, but he does live in Texas, after all.

I haven't heard from Willie either...even called him on the cell and no rturn....I figured if he had "one call" it would be to me or you TCD!

Yeah, that's true, so he must not be in jail.

Maybe he is just passed out somewhere.:drinking1 Or, in hiding because he burned something down.

You would think that he would at least be on here talking smack about the Cowboys.

Cowboys??? Did you see their last game......you are right, it must be the Cowboys! LOL

Watch it there, Andrew! Do you HONESTLY think that Texans really drink THAT much? You're wrong. We drink more. (It gets awfully hot here.)

Rob

Hey Rob- I wasn't trying to imply anything, just stating the truth. Y'all are fine representatives of your state.

BTW- I need to know from the new guy Frank if he is a college football fan, and if so whether it is USC or UCLA. I need to keep these things straight when I want to talk some smack, like:

GO GATORS!

Wow- no posts all weekend!

Willie is still MIA.

Is everybody ready for a big football game tonight?

Can the Gators win a national championship in football while they are still defending their basketball national championship? We will find out tonight!

Go Gators!

TCD

TCD are ya still out flipping over cars from your big win??

I did talk to Willie and all is well, just busy.........

Congrats, Andrew on your Gators victory!

Who'd a thunk it?!

Andrew must be trying to sober up from all of that partying over the Gator win.

..... Or else HE is in jail after tearing up the town celebrating....

Andrew in jail.....Hmmmm.....

Reminds me of a joke I once heard....

Haven't heard from TCD.....that reminds me of a joke!!!

A guy phones a law firm and says,
"I want to speak to my lawyer."

The receptionist says,
"I'm sorry, but your lawyer died last week."

The next day the same guy phones the law firm and says,
"I want to speak to my lawyer."

Once again the receptionist replies,
"I'm sorry, but your lawyer died last week."

The next day the guy makes his regular call to the law firm and say,
"I want to speak to my lawyer."

"Excuse me sir," the receptionist says,
"but this is third time I've had to tell you that your lawyer died last week. Why do you keep calling?"

The guy replies,
"Because I love hearing it!"
