I agree with Jenny, you must do Plaza Inn (unless you are planning on hitting Mrs. Knott's and then you're excused.) The lambuger at the Uva Bar is divine! I also love the cheese dog at the corn dog palace.
I've got a reservation for cafe Orleans, planning on a corn dog and flos this trip too! What do you love at carnation cafe?
Chef's Counter at Napa Rose is booked. I got a call back last night and booked the second seating. I've been reading reviews and I'm super excited!
4 weeks from today I'll be in California!

Chefs Counter? Looks amazing. We noted during our last trip that that would be the place to sit.
Noted. I did Mrs. Knott's last time and it was fabulous. Do you need reservations for Plaza Inn? My inner WDW trip planner is freaking out at the lack of need to pick meals 6 months ahead of time.

Plaza Inn is a CS. They give you real plates. You pick up your food a various stations using a tray. You serve yourself drinks and get your silverware and napkins. Then you pay at the cashier and a greeter helps you find a table.
Good job on the chef's counter. Did you find the thread with the pics from all the people who dined there?
I am definitely going to check out Plaza Inn then. Sounds awesome for a CS.
No..I didn't find that thread. Let me see if I can google it.
Are you guys surviving the storm?

We're surviving, but we don't live in a burn area, nor adjacent to a drainage ditch. Our alley is all muddy and the parking area has a small lake about 4 inches deep. But that's about all for us. I haven't been to Casa Nueva since the rain started. I hope thats OK.

Plaza Inn, Plaza Inn!The Tasting Menu looks so good Jill. Good for you.
Is it raining a lot Alison? It rained here for two days, looks like its going to start again. I'll rain over snow ANY day. ANY DAY!
For the past two days it was almost constant rain. Not sure how much Long Beach got. Houses on the peninsula were flooded this morning, but the foothills got like 7 inches of rain. That's more than he last two years combined and they got it in two days.
