Thanks for help - have now bought Add On

I wanted to thank everyone who helped my yesterday with my quick decision to cancel our Vegas trip and take advantage of the SSR deal instead.

I have today bought the 120 points for $10,440 with 100 points extra plus no dues until next year.

My guide said the 100 points were bankable to next year. Is this true? If so we will have 944 points next year. (I should be able to get a bathtub with these points!!!)

Yes, if you're already into your 2005 UY, 120 points that you just added can be banked.
Congratulations on your purchase. We took the same bait couple of weeks ago

Yes our use year is June so we have just made it I guess.

Not looking forward to paying those annual dues in 2006 though. We have to pay ours all in one go as we live in UK, but I just keep thinking about all those points we have and I can't stop smiling

Just wondering - we just purchased 200 points at SSR and I was intersted in the add on.
Unfortunately my husband isn't as excited as I am about adding on so soon !!

Sorry can't help with the interest rate or downpayment question as I we bought cash. I had the feeling that because we were in the UK we had to but not sure.

When we bought the first time we could put 20% downpayment but were actually in WDW then.

I am not if we have too many points now as we can only really visit once a year whilst DD is at school. Hopefully in the future we can come out twice a year though.

I'm not sure if there is a minimum down payment required but when I added on about 3 weeks ago, 9.75% was the interest rate for anything less than 50% down payment.

You should be able to get a bathtub in every room for 944 points!

Congratulations!!! I soooo wish we could have done the 120 pt add-on, but $$$ right now...just a 50 pt add on. I am so jealous! How about sharing some of those points

We will be sharing our points with our friends!! However they will still have to pay for flights and from the UK. Flights per family of 4 are around $4,000 so still not a very cheap holiday for them but get to have two weeks in luxury accommodation on site and share with us. What more could they want!!!

Next they will want $100 off APs!!
