I cannot even put into words how much fun I had on Saturday.

First person I was able to thank and hug was John. Then Kevin, then Pete...........well, I met the greatest people and was so very grateful to be included!

Riding the ride and eating chocolate and putting chocolate shavings in my hot chocolate and having that hilarious ice cream vendor Eddie and, of course, so as not to offend him, having ice cream too.....and riding more and not having to get off the ride and, and, and....

I don't think I can ever express how appreciative I am! This was my first 'alone' trip without the hubby and kids....I so wasn't alone though. Even got a backstage walk to the buses (oh, and thanks for that too)! I felt like a castmember!

It was a perfect evening and I will remember all you and the other sponsors did for me and try and return the favor and send as much business as I can your way!

We also met Eddie, what a star he was. A legend in the making I reckon, he put everybody at ease and mingled a whole lot later on in the party.

I loved the party, still jetlagged so will post more later. Met some lovely people, albeit I mingled much less than I had planned to, lol

I have to disagree w/ everyone regarding the ice cream vendor. ...and I believe his name was Elliot.

I was the first person to walk past him at the event and he dragged me over to his cart and proceeded to ply his wares...a bit odd but fine.

THEN he wanted to know who we were, what we were doing there and why. I explained about the podcast and the larger event of MouseFest and he pulled out a small notebook to take notes...then proceded to aske me for my email address!

To be totally honest he creeped me out. Maybe it was because I wasn't part of a larger group but I definitely didn't get an "entertainment" vibe from him at all...more like creepy stalker vibe.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< I actually gave him my email address He was out there but was so funny and seemed harmless....most importantly he gave out free ice cream -- I always seem to trust free ice cream!

(and he also gave me his email address on his on his trusty little notebook paper... his name is Eddie Crandall and he is a catering castmember. I had thought about trying to meet up with him when my husband, kids and I return over the peakest of peak seasons (12/26 -1/4). Hmmmmmmm.)
