TGIF: The College Years

Had to share some news I just got. I applied back before Thanksgiving for MTSU as a transfer student and have been waiting to hear from them. Below is the basic wording of the letter I received.

I just received a letter today from MTSU saying they are pleased to inform me of my tentative acceptance to MTSU as a transfer student. My acceptance is pending on the receipt of a college transcript, through the end of the semester, from the institution you are currently attending.

ACK! I have a big psych test on tuesday that i REALLY have to do well on, and I'm getting really lazy to study!
And I also have a litte mini-paper in English due tomorrow, and I have yet to start!!
Any tips for a perpetual procrastinator?? I just can't seem to get motivated right now!!

I'm the wrong person to ask, I don't have all my homework done yet. I haven't started on my paper that's due Wednesday, that will be Tuesday night.

But it works for me because I actually do better under pressure like that.

Haha - the age old question!! The way I stay on my homework is by telling myself that if something comes up (like friends wanting to go out) it is to my benefit to get that homework done now!

So who is watching the superbowl? I am! My house is having a party with chicken wings and pizza and chips/salsa. yay.

i'm watching it, I love watching it for the commercials and music. We're having pizza and breadsticks here tonight.

Rooting for the Giants, it's time for another Manning to step up to the spotlight and I'm sorry Eli is much better looking then Peyton.

that had to be the best superbowl ive ever seen... the 4th quarter was soooo intense haha.. but i am sooo happy with the results!!! i hate the pats sooo much haha... good job giants! good job!

That was such an exciting and depressing superbowl. I love the pats and it sucks that they were not able to have theri perfect season.

I actually got to it and started studying for my test last night, so I didn't watch the superbowl.
but i'm kind of glad the udnerdogs won.

I watched the Superbowl, but I was exhausted and didn't care who won so I was trying not to fall asleep the whole time. The last few minutes were pretty intense, though, and I was happy for the Giants.

My weekend was a ton of fun, but I have to get to work this week... I have a midterm tomorrow, another one next week, and a huge research paper due in a few weeks that I really need to start working on. This is about when I start hating school every quarter.

What a game! It was insane! We're HUGE Giants fans so we were so psyched that they won... and that the Pats lost after all the crap they were spewing. We had a big Super Bowl party and it was the most fun one we've ever had. My cousins came and we all watched the game and took stupid pictures. It was awesome!

I don't know if any of you remember me posting this, but Stephanie from Full House came to our school yesterday, well last night! I was so excited to see her you could not believe! When she came out, our mouths dropped- she's pregnant!

She is a great public speaker, and talked about her life starting in commericals around 3 and then landing her role on Full House without even trying out, and then she started drinking/doing drugs at age 13! She talked about all of that and then how she got out of it and who she is today.

For the last half hour, we got to do a Q & A. This one guy was so in love with her that he could barely ask his question! It was hilarious. She did get asked what she is having- it's a girl! Someone even had her say 'How Rude!' and everyone flipped out their cell phones to tape it! HA!
