Texas: Buy a $100 Disney Gift Card, get a $15 H-E-B gift card coupon

Hah, true. But with cascading the purchases like I described above, you'll only have to spend one $15 gift card coupon. And if you are a Whole Foods customer, which is the main group that looks down on H-E-B, then you can just buy some organic products they sell, or Central Market brand goods.

I wish we had Whole Foods, or heck, even just another grocery store. HEB has a complete monopoly here, and they know it.

I wasn't planning to go to HEB today.. but that gift card offer is something I need. Had hoped they would do the buy $100 gift card get $20 off again this year. But something is better then nothing :goodvibes

I'm in the same boat. My DLR vacation isn't until January, so I have some time to wait for a 20% or 33% off deal, but if they don't come, then I'm going to be wishing I took full advantage of this 15% off Disney deal.

We'll see. I may go buy 2 or 3 more $100 Gift Cards tonight just to hedge my bets.

I ended up buying two. I went in and bought just one, got the coupon, grabbed another GC, did my shopping used the coupon on the groceries and GC. No second coupon. :scared1: I asked the girl about it and she said if nothing comes out of the machine there is nothing she could do. She called a manager over who just gave me my first coupon back.

The coupons do expire on May 29th. I wish I could buy a few more now but $30 free is better than nothing! I'm applying them to my cruise now. Thanks again OP!

Thanks for the report. I'll be sure to get a manager's attention if the 2nd coupon doesn't print out.

Ok went to one of my local HEB stores. I went directly to customer service and asked about the offer. She said they did not have that offer. I told her my friend in Dallas had just bought some gift cards. " Well every HEB has different offers" is what the cashier told me. I told her to go ahead and charge me for the $100 gift card anyway and VOILA I got a $15 catalina. So I then went and got another $100 disney gift card and used my $15 off catalina for a total of
$85 :cool1: I ended up buying $1500 in gift cards. Love the money I saved for my June trip :goodvibes

Yeah when I asked the cashier about it she did not have a clue so I just had her ring it up and BAMM:wizard:It spits out. :yay:

Yes! Great stories everyone. I'll be going tonight to pick up 3 more. My Disney Vacation money market account at my bank just got a nice return. :)

The Disney gods just handed you $225. I love how confident that manager was in her incorrectness. But we know the DIS knows all! :thumbsup2

Because I have two trips confirmed this year, one in June and another in October I went back tonight and bought another $1200 :good vibes More savings could not be passed up :yay:

I have a friend that is a manager at another HEB and she said they never received any notice in regards to this offer. But luckily, my DIS buddies are always on the look out for a great deal!

I just got back from H-E-B. I bought 3 more $100 Disney Gift Cards. The first one cost me $100, but the following ones cost me $85, with one $15 Gift Card coupon left over to use.

So my totals: $400 in Disney Gift Cards for $340. Knocked off $60 from my bottom line Disney vacation expense. I'm still holding out for a better H-E-B deal closer to my late January vacation for the rest, but this one hedged my position nicely.

Awesome. So what's that for you ... $2,700 in Disney gift cards for $2,295? Nice $405 in free money.

Wasn't seeing the $15 coupon print out a nice feeling? And then again when seeing the cascading method work when another coupon printed out on the 2nd $100 card purchase for $85 + the previous coupon? When that happened, I first thought ... if only more people could have known. I wish I would have seen this deal more than 28 hours before it expired, so more people on this board would have seen it, and more of my friends and their friends could have been told about it. At least some of us got in on it. I'm so happy for you Catira and the others on this thread. I will continue to look every time I go to H-E-B.

I suggest paying in cash, I got a great diaper deal from Walgreens several years ago *free diapers, my sister and good friend received many diapers from me* 3 regular size packs for $5 + a $5 catalina - well after my 1st purchase & catalina I didn't get the 2nd cat *the machine recognized my debit card - knew I already had a cat, I paid with cash from then on and got my $5 catalina each time :thumbsup2

I loved the extra savings! I can buy at least 2 disney dooney purses with that money! :cloud9:

Great deal. I wish we had HEB here.

The best I can do right now is 5% off with Target Debit Card and 5% off with Target pharmacy card. I can stack but that only totals 9.5%.

I am envious of your deal.

Yep. That Target deal is in the back of my mind, just in case something better doesn't come along closer to my vacation.

I'm sad I didn't see this yesterday  Would have bought multiple giftcards for our trip in 17 days. Especially since bf's payday was yesterday. I am happy for all those who got to get in on that awesome deal (:
