Which do you think would be the first ride crowds rush to when Epcot opens?

Which one tends to have a longer standby line?

Soarin....when we were there in September, we went to it first and got fast passes but walked on it because the standby wasn't long yet.....after we got done riding it was huge! So we rode a second time with the fast passes. Soarin is one you really want to get to first. Test Track wasn't too bad through out the day. One time there was no line at all.

Definitely Soarin. The line gets huge very fast! We normally have a great luck doing single rider at Test Track. We have been able to get on in 15 mins or less using this line, it's great if your party is willing to split up. My son and I get in the same car often, but there is no guarantee. You cannont do this with children under 7 years of age.

Soarin. When we were there in February the line was soooo long. It was worth it though.

Here's what we do -- go to Soarin' and get Fastpasses and then walk over to Test Track and ride standby. We can usually ride TT and Mission Space before heading back over to use out FP for Soarin'.

Soarin, We had to fast pass it and that was the first ride we hit when we got to the park 10am. It was awesome!!!

Thanks everyone, Soarin' it is! Then onto Test Track!

Good choice. Waiting to do Soarin' could get you in one heck of a line!

I may even get a fastpass, and then ride, and then go back at fastpass time. We will only be in Epcot for one day, and I think my kids would like to maybe ride twice. They have heard so much about it. We are all very excited about Soarin'!

How many rows of seats are there?

There are three sections, A, B, and C. Each section has 3 rows, and each row had 8 seats, I believe. So each showing would be able to fit 24 X 3 sections = 72 riders per show.

Hint: Ask for a row 1 seat if you can. It's worth it!

Related question. We are going in early May. We will be there when the rope drops. I was thinking about stopping by TT first to get a FP, then heading to the Soarin standby line. Will that be a mistake?

Defintely Soarin'. Went last October and there was always a huge wait (not true for Test Track, which was much more manageable). Fast pass is very important for Soarin' - use it!

(I was amazed at the lines for Soarin'. This is one of my very favorite rides, and I had gone on it many times at California Adventure without the huge waits. But the lines at DW were astounding -- probably because many of the people DW had never gone to CA to ride it before, as I had -- it's new and more of a novelty at DW. Hopefully things will calm down at DW as more people have a chance to experience it.)

Man I hope so. I can't imagine waiting more than a hour with the 3 kids. I guess I'll have to bring something to keep them busy & relaxed while we wait.
