mic - heck, we want more gory details...i have no life; need to live vicariously thru y'all.

bob - DH is taking the week before Memorial Day off to finish his retaining wall project. He's throwing hints to run up to Erie for a day or so...he says to swim @ Presque Isle (i know his plan, just wants to check out the slots lol). I could be mistaken...as I recall the water is still very cold that time of year?

Only ate 1/2 my pasta, couldn't finish it that's a 1st for me. I'm not a big beer drinker but; an ice cold Corona would hit the spot. I'll settle for iced tea with sweet 'n low.

Evening...watching the baseball game, just taking a break

Stopped and got dh some beer tonight, and I bought spiced rum to try this way...1 oz (or more ) rum, 1 oz cranberry juice, 4 oz. orange juice, mix over ice...it was kinda tasty

I ate spaghetti too KS, figured what the hey, it's Friday...

I'm sure you are all in bed but i thought i would come and pull the covers up and tuck ya'll in.

I have to say...it was kinda sad for my last day at walmart. everyone kept coming up to me and telling me they were going to miss me and don't forget to come back to visit It was like i was NEVER going to be there again...i kept telling them that i am going to be one of those irrate customers we always have to deal with

What is everyone doing this weekend?

tomorrow trent has ball games...they are here so no travelling for us this weekend. i think they are at 2&4.

I'm not sure what we are doing on sunday as that is upto dave to decide.

my redneck neighbor gave me the wake up call @ 7:15 this morn - thought i'd pass it along...good thing we don't own firearms.

pam - bet you'll miss the gang, any thoughts of returning for seasonal? We actually lucked out the other day & got the pool pump on sale.

mic - i'm still stuffed from the pasta. Think i may splurge & spring for a tanning session today. I've been catching some rays on deck; but unevenly. I always overdo the 1st one & wind up cooking...a greedy piggy i am/less is not more

started watching Happy Feet last night, after an hour still didn't see what all the fuss was about? DS thought it was sooo boring, hubby watched it a bit longer for the dancing penguins .

He traded work schedules with some joker who gave him the song & dance how he just had to spend Mother's day with his dear sainted mom...we're going out to eat @ Red Lobster tonight after he gets home from work. At least he'll have a couple extra days @ end of next week to tack onto his vacation (retaining wall part deux).

Good morning...OH KS, I hate those kind of neighbors!! Dude, wait til 9 to start up the equipment I woke up at 6:30 and refused to get out of bed, and fell back asleep til about 8:45 I was having the weirdest dream, and I usually do that when I go back to sleep like that for a few hours...it was people from work, and everything that happened was something pertaining to what was said by that person or done by that person yesterday...it was just WEIRD

I keep saying I'm gonna get dressed and run some errands...better get moving along here.......KS, I might throw in a tanning session also. My place was bought out, and they now have a price for unlimited per month, so it is SO much nicer, I can pop in when I want and not worry about using up all my # of tan's. And it worked out I needed to buy it the beginning of May, so it will run out right when we leave...it has been 104 in Phoenix, so maybe we will get some sun

To my husband's constant griping "why do you bother" about checking back prices when you've bought something already, I can't help myself, and peeked at SW last night, NOTHING left as available from what I had picked/purchased yesterday morning.....it was karma I checked when I did, plus KS, a little reminder from you about looking that I got such a deal. YIPPEE and thanks! It's just you gotta perservere and strike when the iron is hot

Sox lost to those blasted crows las night They better play them better today!

Ok, off to get dressed and head out I think, me and everyone else that hasn't yet bought their Mom a present Got my cards etc....have some other stuff to do.......like pants for work

Okay, how weird is this? I was laying in bed this morning thinking "hmmm....maybe I should get a tanning package for this month" and then I come here and ks and mic both said something about packages.

ks--that stinks that your dh has to work tomorrow. I told dave that it was upto him to decide what we do tomorrow....so we will see what he comes up with.
As far as going back i'm not sure yet. we will see what happens but if i go back it probabaly won't be until the end of Oct. or so.

mic--have fun picking up those pants Don't you hate when you have weird dreams?

She cried the entire time up on stage. She wanted to be sitting with her Nana. In all fairness to her, she told us before that she didnt want to be up there, she just wanted to play with her Nana (who drove 10 hours each way to watch her perform.)

And here is the famous wedding dress. The one that my SIL paid $160 for each flower girl. (Can you tell I think that is insane?) And the tux we got Nico for less than $20 on Ebay

Hi all...back from running errands...didn't spend too long in town, it was quite busy...and I snuck in a tanning too Go for it Pam...you are footloose and fancy free now that Wal-Mart is in your past

Found 2 pair pants, have to try them on again to see if I really like them, they are white.......I can't stand long pants in the summer, this is killing me to wear them.....ugh.....found a cute pair of sandals with a low heel on sale...plus got my hairspray and mousse at Pennies cause hairspray was 50% off and then I had a $10 off coupon...plus $10 off in regular stuff and a 15% off total purchase, so I did pretty good at Pennies today.

Went to Target to get the couple things my boss wanted for our coffee set up in the lobby...it is fun spending his money

Going to go watch a little more of the baseball game, then fix some dinner...ds is supposed to be cooking for ME...but he is asleep I didn't raise dummies

Momma, those pictures are wonderful! Oh the recital one's are too cute, and Nico looks ever so handsome. Poor Julianna, wanting just to play with Nana, how cute is that? I actually love the one of her crying, she looks cute even though she is sad. All of them are great, thanks for posting...my gosh, they are growing so fast. Nico looks so much older than the last time you posted photos of them...tell them to stop that growing up!!

our dinner is cooking as i type. we are having steaks on the grill, and some other goodies.

Trent won both of their games today. He made an awsome play to end the second game. He was playing right field and the kid hit a blooper...trent threw him out at 1st base

ocm--great pictures they are sooo cute...love the brown eyes!

mic--glad you found a couple of pairs of pants...i'm like you and don't like long pants in the summer.


I think we are going to watch either sandlot 3 (that is not the name of it but not sure what it is) or night at the mesuem tonight. I bought them both before i quit the other night Well, we will watch them that is if everyone can stay awake for it...we seem to all be draggin.

mic - i hate to wear long pants, period...unless they're stretchy. Never did make it to the tanning bed, got a 'lil bit of sun in back yard. Perhaps I'm good luck lol; i keep checking prices up to the bitter end...just my thang i suppose; makes me feel special

ocm - fantastic pix your kids are so precious and photogentic too; i was wondering how the wedding went...did you wear the yellow dress?

Dinner was fantastic, got right in (that doesn't happen often); even found a couple of old gift cards to lighten the load.

Hi everyone. My big guy didn't win his competition tonight but he did have fun. He was kinda bummed but I told him how proud I was of him for even being in the competition. (I have the names of the judges and if they begin to disappear.......just kidding) He'll be fine. His prom is next Saturday so he is looking forward to that.

I did speak to my dear friend Mac earlier today and I told her that, even though I don't spend as much time as I used to on the test thread, I love each and every one of you. (and for the guys, that's NOT in a brokeback mountain kinda way!) (not that there's anything wrong with that (ala Seinfeld).
