at the very least roofers should have a tan . Hope they didn't feed you mystery meat @ the school, did you get to the park?

ed - way to go! we were able to get our sprayer to work right, tried to put deck stain down...what a mess, couldn't get it to go on evenly - there must be an art to it. DH got another one as an accessory w/compressor, we thought it might work better; but haven't given it a shot yet.

pam - hope today flows better for you.

bob - finally got to peek @ your pics, very professional -nice keepsakes.

Speaking of pics, the wedding photographer has YET to post the photos on her website so we can order pics and my kids can get their album. Wedding was 12/23; would think they'd be processed by now...slow season anyway.

Video & photos ran over $5K; all we've gotten is a DVD. MOBride has called the bridal shop (where the photog works out of) and apparently she's mia. Out of the goodness of their heart, they said they'd look into it. if i paid for them, i'd have been camped out in the store 2 months ago.

I didn't get as much as I wanted to done yesterday but you know what....i go to sleep and wake up and behold......it is still here!!?!?!

mic--my uncle use to call me bam bam...infact, he still does. I guess you got your exercise in today if you had to drive the stone car to work today.

ocm--have fun today. I think I am going to take the kids to the park today too. I will pick aubrey and joe up from preschool then head to the park to have a picnic....well that is the plan for the moment anyway

ks--so have you decided? are you going to go watch?

ed--being a single dad huh? did you have mcdonald's for dinner?

Good afternoon...phew...I had a busy morning, my twice monthly meeting then lots of paper pushing today, just taking a break before lunch......looks like I'm moving up the ladder here too in several months....we will see. We got kicked in the pants so to speak, no more wearing capri's in the summer, that just ticks me off, I have a whole closet full of those things.........whatever........he is on another one of his "impress the world" kicks

KS, I would be furious about the pics. My nephew, when he got married and the photographer took everyone's email address and gosh, within a week we all had notices to go online and see the photos plus family could order if you chose to...that is plain weird...hope they didn't take the money and run

Ya know, I do drive to bedrock each day... ...we have a warehouse full of rocks!! Purdy one's too. Not to bore everyone, did I ever post our website address? You could see where I work!! and what we do here, actually it is a rather interesting business.


Looking like some rain maybe here, cloudy, sun comes out, goes in...I washed my car with a lick and a promise last night, couldn't take the bird poop on it another minute...LOL...so of course it will rain, but I don't care now, the bird poop is GONE....

Yep, i'm having a hard time keeping my trap shut, just politely ask every month or so...glad i took snapshots.

fyi, haven't caught the rogue squirrel yet; hope he's traveling solo. DH thinks they're coming down the chimney & accessing old coal chute? Fixed it shut, now all we gotta do is catch the critter (again)...wonder if it's the same one lol.

not sure about the tournie, it's hard for hubbie to sit still, unlike me.

off to buy a new pool pump tonight, wonder what they cost told dh we should've replaced the whole shee-bang this year.

congrats to the baseball fans, i assume the Pirates are out of it already.

My plans today are to celebrate naked Thursday by going to Yoga. I havent been to that class in so long, but hopefully it will all come together. I'm sure in a few weeks I'll be back to being as flexible as ever.

Then, I need to run to the grocery store becuase I have little to no food in my house. The kids love Honey Nut Cheerieos and we are out of that and oatmeal.

Off to pick the girls up from school, then I need to clean my house. After I need to run out and buy teacher gifts for Julie and Sammie, since their last day of school is tomorrow

Morning all

Yep, we're all set for the summer. Our next door neighbor's going to watch Cam, with the exception of his two weeks of Tae Kwon Do camp and the time spent travelling. We think we're going to have her watch Ryan a couple days a week and have him go to preschool a few days as well, since there's not a lot of kids his age in the neighborhood for him to play with. We haven't worked all that out yet.

I was able to get them all signed up for the bible camps. There are still a few weeks that I haven't got figured out at all and I can't find anything for Sammie. The poor girl is going to be stuck going to the gym daycare everyday.

I was trying to find a mommy and me Ballet class, but it seems you have to be three to take any of them. I do know that @ Mygym Sammie could go to camp, but that is wicked expensive. I'll have to call and see what kind of specials they are running.

Sammie is going 5 days to preschool next year. She went two this year and she really liked it, so I am sure Ryan will too.

Ed what are your boys doing in the summer?

Pam are your kids doing any sort of camps?

Momma, the dress code is mostly no capri's, my favorite summer work pants I'm guessing a skirt would work, but I don't want to be bothered. My problem is I have very few light weight summer slacks as I wore capri's all last summer...so.....whatever it is I have to wear, I guess I'll wear it

climbing out from under mt. of bill paying, sometimes i think it's takes longer to do them online, course i'm a functioning illiterate.

mic - no capris i'd be sunk for sure. Think with a dressy top they are very classy looking; long as you don't wear them with flip flops.

ocm - sounds like you've got all the bases "un-covered" today

bob - sounds like a nice summer planned for your kids . My youngest is at that awkward age to plan for i.e. when the camps start to get more profession/expensive and they're mostly sleepover ones. Hope they offer the summer tennis day camps again @ the YMCA.

We're going to start dragging youngest around to western PA college campuses on day trips this summer so he can get a feel for them before the official visits begin next year (hope to weed some out).

i lost another pd on stoopid diet (one more day to go this week). Was tough last night when i made swiss steak & chicken teriyaki (i'm a short order cook lol)...was drooling. I was allowed 2 beef weiners, and brocolli & carrots. I was full, just wasn't satisfying. Ah well, if this works even i can keep this up for a few months - and i have zip in the way of will power. Hope it doesn't bounce back on over the 4 regular days. Purposely didn't do the treadmill to see the results, will work it in next week.

The squirrel exposed himself yesterday when DS was sent to basement to haul up food (he squealed like a girl). Once again i did battle in bare legs; he charged me & i retreated in a cowardly fashion...afraid he'd crawl up my leg like the other one did When DH came home, he chased him upstairs into our den. Squirrel proceeded to run across all the shelves creating a shambles (still waiting for me to pick up)...finally cornered him and shoo'd out the door.
