Friday Jan 19 Part 1
We all woke up that morning fairly late for my family. I think 7am and we started packing up to switch back to the Swan for the last 2 nights.
What do you think about leaving on Saturday Night? I asked Lee. It will save me an extra night at the hotel and we really dont have any plans for Saturday night dinner.
No, lets just stay through Sunday. He said.
You know, we should have probably upgraded Samanthas dinning plan to an adult. I was saying, It would have been a better idea, rather than sharing one adult plan.
Well, you would know better than me. I dont know anything about this stuff. If you thought we needed it, you should have done that.

He said getting annoyed at me.
But, I didnt have the money for the extra adult meals. I couldnt afford to do it.

I was getting annoyed back.
Then, its a moot point, isnt it?

He shouted at me as he walked into the shower. I have to say, I was really taken back and a little angry at that comment.
We decided to let him go check us in, because the room was in his name, while I let the dryer finish for the 4th time and finish packing up. While he was gone, TVT called. What are you guys doing so I know where to meet you?
Lee went to go check us in at the hotel. Im waiting for the dryer to finish so I can get the rest of the clothes packed. We have to be at Sci Fi by 11am, so hopefully these clothes dry soon. I explained. What time will you get here?
In about 45 minutes. He answered. Ok, I have no idea where I am going to be in 45 minutes. I might still be at this hotel, I might be at the car, I may be at the Swan. I have no idea. I said, getting flustered. It was all me, at this point, I was still frustrated with Lee and the dang dryer would not get those clothes dry.
Ok, I will call you when I get close. He said in a very calming voice. Lee got back to the hotel about the same time TVT arrived. Whats wrong? Why are you upset? Tony asked.
Honestly, right, now, I just cant talk about it. I explained. I was still trying to process what Lee had said and my part in all of the situation. Maybe I had misunderstood what he was saying. Maybe he was right and since I invited him, I should be expected to pay everything. I just needed more time to sort it all out before I talked about it.
We set down the luggage and took a boat over to Sci Fi. We got there a few minutes early and we were one of the first tables sat. The kids loved it there. While we were waiting for a table, Lee had gone out to get a snack. We ordered the kids food and talked for a little while about the plans.
Mom, Mom, Mom Look!!! Its Tom and Jerry!! Nico exclaimed happily. It was neat to watch them get so excited about the restaurant.
Nico wants to see the Mickeys Dreams Come True show again. I announced to the others, once Lee had rejoined us with his snack.
So, we are going back to magic Kingdom?" Lee asked as I nodded. "Ok, well are you guys going to eat a Counter Service here or at Magic Kingdom? Lee asked.
Well, there isnt really much at either one. But I think I really want a Salad or a sandwich. I think Magic Kingdom has more variety than MGM. I was thinking out loud.
Ok, well, I am hungry so I am going to go get my food now. Lee left to go get his lunch. Once he got back, we decided to head to Magic Kingdom. On the way, we ran into Sully and let the kids take their picture with him.
We decided to take a bus over to Wilderness Lodge and take the boat from there to Magic Kingdom. Ive never seen three people so excited to take a bus. WHOO HOO, we get to ride in the Disney Busses the three kids were cheering.
Once inside MK, Lee asked, Ok, what are you going to do?
Uh, I havent eaten in over two days. I reminded Lee So, I am going to eat. I left the kids with Lee and Tony and I headed off to find some food.
First we went to Starlight Café, but the lines were endless and the tables were full. After much debate, we ended up at Pecos Bills. The lines were not terrible and while the food wasnt appealing, at that point, I didnt feel like walking anymore. I called Lee to let him know where we had ended up and to check on him and the kids.
Why were you so upset this morning,? Tony asked while we were standing in line. I explained the conversation earlier with Lee and while I dont mind sharing things, I was a little frustrated that I was expected to pay everything. However, I did realize that a lot of it was my own fault.
While we were eating, Tony went over all of his frustration with Lee about the way he had treated us all the past few days. "He never says thank-you to me when I pay for a meal or help with the kids.
"I am really sorry about that. I have tried to tell him before that he needed to thank my parents, friends, or anyone that takes us out for dinner or watches the kids. I guess he just isn't a "thank you" person. I am really sorry about that, I know he comes across as very rude at times." I'm use to apologizing to my friends and family for his behavior.
Tony kept talking about what had gone on from Christmas and this trip. And he didnt even defend you. I saw him see the guy take that picture. Lee walked away. Did he give you any trouble about your clothes?
No Answer
Did he? He demanded.
You know, we dont have any reservation for tomorrow night. I said thoughtfully. I really dont want to celebrate my birthday eating fast food. Can I use your phone? I want to call Disney Dinning and see if I can make any reservations.
I called and they informed me I had two reservations for Saturday night. The first was at Grand Floridian Café for 8 people. The second was at Cinderellas Castle for 5 people. I turned to Tony
I have two reservations tomorrow. One is for 8 people at Grand Floridian and the other is for 5 people at Cinderellas Castle. I raised my eyebrows and looked at him. His eyes dropped down and looked back up. Wait, Grand Floridian Café?

Who made that reservation?
AH HA! Caught.

Someone had booked the Castle for my birthday night. I was shocked and humbled that someone would do that for me. It was truly thoughtful and very generous.
Who did it? I asked Tony
I know who did it, but I am not saying. You werent suppose to know about it. But can I ask you a question? Did you say the reservation was for 5 people at the Castle? He asked as I nodded still in shock. Well, Lee specifically asked me to help get you here that night and make sure you stayed at the park until 8pm. What was I suppose to do, take you to the castle door and say, ok, I got you here have fun, Ill just wait out here?

He said sarcastically.
Ah Ha, so Lee booked it. I said, Wow! It really was a very thoughtful gift and extremely generous. But, the reservation is at 8pm, and my kids have to eat before that. Plus, isnt it about $200 for the meal? I dont want to spend that kind of money on one meal, that seems like such a waste to me. I said sincerely. After we are done, lets go look at the menu and stop by the castle and talk to them about the reservation. If you dont mind.
No we can do that. Tony answered. He gave his Dessert away to a little girl at the next table and we headed for the castle.
I wonder if Lee looked at the Menu at the castle. I was thinking out loud again I doubt they have anything I would eat. It really was so generous of him, Im actually humbled.
We got to the castle and looked at the Menu. There was one entrée I might have eaten. It was tortellini with Tomato cream sauce. I cant eat tomato sauce because the acid in it burns my stomach, but because it was a cream sauce, it might be ok. Do you have a kids menu? I asked the woman
My mouth dropped as I read the kids menu.

It is $39 for the kids meals and all I saw on there was an App, either soup or salad, entrée was Macaroni Cheese or Hot Dog, and a choice of two desserts. I thanked the lady for all her help and set off to find Lee and the kids.
So, I called Disney Dinning to see if I could book a reservation for tomorrow night. I said to Lee. Imagine my surprise when I found out I already had two reservations. I said
What two were they? he asked Cautiously
Grand Floridian café for 8:30pm for 8 people and Cinderellas Castle at 8:05pm for 5 people.

I said smiling.
See, I knew I shouldnt have put the reservation in your name. I should have put it under a different name.

He was laughing.
Did you book the reservation? I asked him smiling.
"No your mom did." He answered. I booked the Grand Floridian becuase I thought your mom was coming down. Then, she said that she couldn't but she wanted to suprise you with a special dinner at the Castle.
Ok, I really felt terrible now.

Its not that it wasnt an extremely thoughtful gift and very very generous, but I really didnt want anyone to pay $40 for a hot dog for the kids and $200 on one meal. I kept talking to Lee and Tony about what to do.
It was either that or the Spirit of Aloha, that your mom could pay in advanced for Lee was telling me, And I really didnt think you would eat there at all. I figured there was a better chance of you eating something at the Castle than eating something at the Luau.
I really didnt know what to do. I didnt want to be ungrateful, but I really didnt want all that money wasted. I had 24 hours to cancel it for my mom to get her money back. I decided to think about it while we rode a few rides at MK.
