So far I have had a fun filled day of waking up while it was still dark...getting kids off to school and now waiting for my grandma to come over. She said when she was buying my present at the store some old ladies kept asking her if she was going to get it~they wanted it. So right now Im a little scared about what it might be. Though I did ask her if it was a walker and she said no

Okay the coast is clear. I got a slow cooker and I did want one.

but deena, then the food cooks real slow............


my sons always wait until 30 minutes before they want to eat, tell me what they want to eat.


i use the slow cooker when i know what they really want to eat.


i used to fix the hot dogs in my slow cooker and it took 2 hours.........

Okay so I have had one crazy morning! Noah woke up this morning and said his headache was back and that it hurt in the back of his head too...around his neck area. So, I called my MIL to see if she could watch the kids so I can take him to the dr. cause he said the back of his head hurt. Well MIL use to be a nurse and she scared the heck out of me by telling me that I NEED to get him in as soon as possible because they have found a few cases of meningitis(sp) in Iowa. I call my dr. office and tell them and they tell me they can see me at 3:45pm...then they say "did you say that the back of his neck hurt? Can you come now?"

I went there and thank god it wasn't that...just a bad sinus infection!!

Looks like we are on our way to meet our deductible early this year
