Welcome back Ed! We missed you!

I had to pay that $200 in room fee for Julie last Oct, but she ended up having pnemonia. Either way, it's an expensive Dr's fee, especially just for a cold.

I can't believe they lost Lindas wheelchair. I would be infuriated. You know, they did that to Tony H. when he was going to Disney. What a mess, I hope you were able to retrive it. I think his was lost for a long while. Was the medicine there when you got back?

I've had the groceries shopped for by the store, but never delivered. I always had the town car stop so I could pick it up and pay for it.

Keisha - I don't often wear heels like that, more becuase my DH is my height in bare feet. I always seem to tower over him at parties. I guess my boots that I wear in the winter all have heels, but I only pull out strappy pretty heels for special occasions too. Nico put my shoes out, I guess those are the only ones he could find.

Mic - How did the manicure turn out? It's nice that you got to take some time to pamper yourself. You deserve it.

Mac - Im really glad your parents have power again.

Gant - hope you are able to check in today

Pam - I hope you get your laptop back again soon. I would be wicked mad about that.

Deena - glad you were finally able to get your stockings up!! I know once I get my mantle decorated and the stockings hung and the tree up, it always feels a lot more like Christmas.

Tony - I'm sure St nicholas was a little scared off by you leaving your underwear on the floor. I do hope you were leaving a clean pair!!

Thanks you all for the compliments of my babies. It was really fun to watch them get so excited over their gifts. Nico asked how St Nicholas knew what we wanted and I told him the st Nicholas was an angel watching over us. He asked if Santa and St nicks were good friends and if they talked about who was good and who was bad. "Like I mean, do they compare lists mom?"

I had to laugh

Welcome home Ed....I wasn't expecting you til later :rotfl: I thought you were there all week......wow, that was some adventure of a trip this time. At least you ended the saga by saying you had FUN! Glad you are back, we missed you...and forget all the mishaps and remember the fun! YAY pictures

My nails are all doodied up for the holiday, I got christmas color tips with some white and silver glitter faint lines...they look nicer than that sounds :goodvibes I'm getting used to them, I'm used to all over color, not just the tips.

More later, must drop doggie off at groomers on my way into the office... :moped: :dogdance: :flower:

Your nails sound cool. I've never colored just the tips either, but wicked fun. I'm sure they look great!

Good morning everyone and welcome back Ed. Bummer about all the mishaps on the trip. Did you get the wheelchair back yet? I have one in my basement that is in very good condition that you are welcome to have.

Sweets, what great pictures of the little or should I say not so little ones. They are adorable.

Mac, glad that things are starting to clear up a bit for you and your parents. I wish I was in your part of the world to catch the low-life thieves.

Hope you all have a great day.

Morning all.
Nope no wheelchair yet lucky for us we have her old one, but if JetBlue doesn't cough it up today I'll have to go rent one till they do.

The kids loved the AKL so did I, but I think because I started going to the parks in 74 I like being closer to the MK.

*note to those of us that can only make the trip every 12 or more months, don't go for 6 nights its too short no time to decompress from the parks for a day.

Wow I was just noticing my post totals I'll have to make sure I come back here in 5 posts to make my landmark.

gant - I NEED the napoleon, now:thumbsup2

ocm - i thought the sandals were hot! your son has good taste in footwear.

mic - i agree w/the pointy toed shoes, felt like an elf in a pair I tried on, could be used as a defensive weapon in a pinch (too much CSI for me lol).

ed - welcome back, sorry to hear of the glitches, especially the health related ones, scary. Cannot believe it costs $200 to see a dr @ WDW! Wonder if insurance would reimburse later?

We had to take a transport chair for youngest DS last Dec. due to broken foot complication. Was sort of nervous as to them taking the TC @ the gate & stowing it w/the luggage. We didn't have any problem w/the chair but, they lost a bag on the way back & then denied it's existence for several weeks (despite the fact that we had claim tix). Finally it was found on a nice lady's porch in Flint, MI; who went to the trouble of calling the hotel identified on the bell services' luggage claim (HRH) & they, in turn, tracked me down. AT paid handsomely for that one;).

Keep bugging the heck out of them, get everyone involved (MCO & home airport) We were in the process of filing a claim on our homeowner's policy when our bag was found, might want to check as to coverage.

I almost forgot...

Hey Bob...gonna watch the big game tonight:teeth: , our season's technically over but, always enjoy hosting your boys.

Well in fairness the Doctor comes to your room and they warn you ahead of time and give you the paper work to submit to your HMO which I am doing.

Normally I wouldnt have called him for just the fever but where he just had the stitches put in I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing an infection.

ed, when it comes to your family, it is always better to be safe than sorry.
you had to call the doc for your son......i would have thought the same thing also. money can buy you medicine but it can't buy you health. just like you, i would have called for the doc in a heartbeat.

i agree that a longer stay is necessary for those going only yearly if even that. i stay on site for 10 nights each trip. and that is going solo...

I have no idea how to pick that game. Its not that I think Pittsburg won't win, but the spread is 10 points. Im not sure they will win by that much.

I don't mind short trips when I am jsut going to meet Deena or any of the other adults, but when I have kids I like to go for about 9-10 days.

Awe thanks, but I meant he picked them out of the shoe closet. They match my VS yellow sundress that I wore to my cousins wedding in texas. I thought they were cute too.

Of course I'll be watching. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 It's a city law that anyone who doesn't watch a Cleveland - Pittsburgh game is tossed out of town. :teeth: :teeth:

We're used to having a season over early, so this is easier for us to deal with than Pittsburgh fans. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: But beating Pittsburgh would make the season, especially after giving away the last game.

Yep, although we did have a great win against "chucky's" team last Sunday, it was quite a let down to fall so far after being the

last year. Although beating the Brown's would take the edge off it, least we don't have to face the dog pound. Not sure whether we're going to get all the snow they called for, so far just about a 1/2 inch. I like to see games in the snow.

thanks for the support ocm, didn't even look @ the spread, always bet w/my heart, my downfall:)

ed 6000 big ones before lunch! woo-hoo. Did you notice any construction @ AK for the villas, supposed to be on the top 2 floor initially.

mac - agree 100%, our best trip ever was our longest (9 nights & 10 glorious days).
