interesting what you said tony.
one of my son's was discharged from the army on a medical.
he was a nat'l guard that was activated.

he spent almost a full 6 years in it and glad he was released this fall.
of course, he doesn't like the injury that had happen to him.

the cat is so afraid of the strong winds she won't eat.
and that is something.......this cat eats all the time !!

Morning!

I still think Mario was a "ringer", thought the dancers weren't supposed to have professional training; he was so far ahead of the pack going in based on skill levels, think it turned off some folks??

pam - you make coke:rotfl: , it used to be my fav too but DH turned me to the darkside.

mic - cheating on us - huh!

mac - we have a cat that climbs up into the mattress of folding couch when he gets scared, not sure how he fits.

ocm - my kids have a tendency to not make up their minds until the bitter end, better to keep me on my toes. Made the oldest one kick in 1/2 for system, accessories & games...still over my budget. He's enjoying it early; now the youngest is lobbying for an early Xmas too. I told him life's not fair, suck it up, Xmas is right around the corner. Add it to my world's worst mom list.

Last time we stopped @ a Crackle Barrel somewhere in SC, we had a very sweet little old lady as our server. She asked where we were from & replied that she just moved back home from DC. When we asked her why, she stated: "...I was jumped in my car & had to put a cap in his *ss, so I had to get out of town, fast":scared1: We left her a really big tip.

In the three years we moved back to DC, my husband was car jacked, we dealt with the sniper, and 9-11 happened. To top it all off, it basically cost your right arm, two legs and your first born to live there. Too expensive for my lifestyle.

Good Morning everybody!
14 days from today I will be at Logan Airport waitng to board a plane to WDW. :bounce:

"Washington D.C. come do some lines with our Mayor" that was never a big winner in the tourism circles.

Morning all!

yep ks...keep that secret between us...we make coke here!!! :teeth: the only dead give away is the coke vehicle that sits in our driveway

ed, ed, ed, :sad2: Do you need me to show you a thing or two?!?!?!

mic---cheating on us are ya? well, i'm calling your boss and telling him that you are not playing nice maybe then you will get fired and not have to worry about managing your time!! :thumbsup2

mac--are you working today?

ocm--that is good that nico's meeting went so well. we went to aubrey's pt conf. last night and she thinks she may getting bored as her and a couple others know and finish everything they do...she says she is going to start teaching her sight words.

bob--what are your weekend plans?

tony--can't you let us stay under the covers a little longer...it is bleeping cold outside!!!!

gant--what are your plans for thanksgiving?

We need to decide ours. We could either go to my aunt and uncles that live 40 minutes away or go to dave's mom and dads who live like 10 minutes away. None of my out of state cousins are going to be back for thanksgiving this year so i am actually leaning towards going to dave's parents just because we hardly ever go for a full day there because dave can't stand his sisters. We need to talk to his mom and see what time she decided...i think they are getting back from arizona on sun. after being there for 3 wks. i bet they will be in for a temp. shock!!!

Yeah baby!!! Not only did we find out our Mayor was a crack addict...we went ahead and reelected him :thumbsup2 I can
't imagine why DC has never been rated in the top ten best cities to raise a family :confused3

gant - we luv quaker state & lube (heresey but, the one in Erie, PA, is the best IMO),

Really? Have you ever been to the original in Sharon? That one seems so authentic (probably becasuse it is :teeth: ) while all the others just seem so artificial to me (not that it stops me from going there for kick-butt wings :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 )

Hmmmm, weekend plans? Not a whole lot going on, except going to a neighbor's house for a party on Sat. afternoon.

GO BUCKEYES!!!!!

pam - what a :cool1: job, bet your kids luv riding in the coke-mobile.:teeth:

bob - embarrassed to admit we've never made it to Sharon (do hear they've got a nice shopping area), usually head out with good intentions but, get way-laid by Grove City outlets & call it a day. Would luv to get away for a night w/DH (that's only happened once before lol) @ an inn modeled after GWTW - Tara, I believe is in in that area; have heard great reviews.

btw, the one time we did manage to escape our brood, we enjoyed a concert @ the buckeyes stadium...much bigger than it looks on tv. Hopping place, we had a nice time.

The site in Cranberry is always terribly swamped, hate waiting so long for a table; wish they do ressies. We usually sign in, then shop.

ocm - guess the waitress wasn't kidding after all! DHs family lives in Arlington but, $ is not an object for them. They all live in McMansions, I shudder to think what they cost. Wonder what they think of my cape cod built in '27:rotfl: , sq. footage would fit in their foyers, that have trees growing in them:confused3 .

I'm torn on this one Bob, I want to root for "THE" Ohio state but the Patriots QB is a Michigan guy.

But your linebacker (Vrabel) is a tOSU guy :teeth: :teeth:

I'm actually a Penn St fan by birth, but I've spent enough years in Ohio now that I've been brainwashed into a Buckeye fan (well, except when they play PSU :thumbsup2 )

It is funny because all of Trent's friends think Dave's job is the COOLEST! They are always asking if dave has any pop in his truck that they can have...they say..."it must be cool to have all the free pop you can drink"
Oh to be a kid again! :teeth:

here it is....my thing or two!!! :teeth:

thing1%20and%20thing2.jpg

Now there is a flash back. I had to read the cat in the hat to the boys 3 times yesterday afternoon and last night.

Ok..I'm sitting here trying not to freak out. But I'm being very unsuccessful at it. I went to go pull up all the china..then yesterday I pulled up all the candlesticks and crystal bowls and silver. Today, I went for the wine glasses and water gobblets and they aren't there. Please Please Please pray with me that they are at my house in DC!! I won't find out until about 9pm tonight..but if they aren't there that means two years ago..the movers lost all of them. I can't imagine I would have packed all the other things and not packed those glasses, but maybe the movers didn't grab all the boxes. Or maybe they didn't wrap everything. Or maybe I wasn't very careful, I mean I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with my 3rd. I know we slept on the floor for 1 month before we moved so that I would have everything in Atlanta once I delivered.

I know they lost all the furniture for like 6 weeks somewhere in NC. I remember not having my bed for 6 weeks after I delivered Sam. We had 90 days to report anything missing and I did make sure the China was there. But I know I didn't check for the glasses..which either means I never packed them or I looked at the china and figure ok all of it was there without checking the glasses. I mean..I had just had a baby and I hadn't been getting much sleep with all 5 of us and the dog on the air mattress. I was just excited that they found my bed.

I know..it's sad that it has been over two years since I have entertained anyone with my good china and glasses..but that doesn't change the fact. Not only were they expensive..but I LOVED those glasses. Everything matched..my china, sliver and the glasses. It looked perfect together..

See, this is me not freaking out..everything is in DC. i'm sure of it..can't you tell?
