test Part 9

Ok..I'm sitting here trying not to freak out. But I'm being very unsuccessful at it. I went to go pull up all the china..then yesterday I pulled up all the candlesticks and crystal bowls and silver. Today, I went for the wine glasses and water gobblets and they aren't there. Please Please Please pray with me that they are at my house in DC!! I won't find out until about 9pm tonight..but if they aren't there that means two years ago..the movers lost all of them. I can't imagine I would have packed all the other things and not packed those glasses, but maybe the movers didn't grab all the boxes. Or maybe they didn't wrap everything. Or maybe I wasn't very careful, I mean I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with my 3rd. I know we slept on the floor for 1 month before we moved so that I would have everything in Atlanta once I delivered.

I know they lost all the furniture for like 6 weeks somewhere in NC. I remember not having my bed for 6 weeks after I delivered Sam. We had 90 days to report anything missing and I did make sure the China was there. But I know I didn't check for the glasses..which either means I never packed them or I looked at the china and figure ok all of it was there without checking the glasses. I mean..I had just had a baby and I hadn't been getting much sleep with all 5 of us and the dog on the air mattress. I was just excited that they found my bed.

I know..it's sad that it has been over two years since I have entertained anyone with my good china and glasses..but that doesn't change the fact. Not only were they expensive..but I LOVED those glasses. Everything matched..my china, sliver and the glasses. It looked perfect together..

See, this is me not freaking out..everything is in DC. i'm sure of it..can't you tell?

Thing One & Two.... I loved the more recent Cat in the Hat movie...and they were in it!!

Off to find something else to eat, my main course didn't fill me up...

It was nice at work today, everyone was gone except 2 salesmen and us 3 gals (the warehouse people were there also, but they don't count )...the dragon queen will be back tomorrow...but I DON'T CARE, I'M OFF NEXT WEEK..........YIPPEE SKIPPEE

Ok..I had them the whole time. They were in a box that was under the stairwell in the basement. Lee said he had the movers put it there two years ago for "safe keeping" then forgot about them. The good news is..I found all my Waterford Crystal bowls and two more silverwares!!!

But I was able to go through and realize that I have 12 wine glasses and 6 water goblets on and one ice beveage thing. I guess Lee can use that for Soda..I didn't even know such things exisited.

Anyway.. WHOO HOO!! Yay for you being off this weekend Mic.

Poor Old Ed...I'm not quite sure he qualifies as Antique yet though..I dont think we can start calling them antique until they hit 45.

Keisha - I agree about the waterford crystal. I found too much to even display..but I was so thrilled I had it.

Deena - I havent been watching survivor, but I need to start again.

Pam - I haven't been watching much TV at all. I do like AI, but really, I got into this really good book last night and I jsut couldn't put it down.

Mic - hav you ever read anything by Jennifer cruise? I don't think its as explicit as some of the others, but it makes for good easy reading. Right now, that is all my brain can take. I have been trying to read the Kit runner for the past few weeks. Everytime I go to pick it up, I fall asleep to it. It's suppose to be wicked good, so i really am going to try to start it again.

Tony - I'm awake. Just think in less than 1 week you get to sit in 7 hours of Turkey Day traffic!!

Gant - Are you getting your shopping done today for Turkey Day? I'm going to try to go while the kids are in school.

Morning all....I'm up and EXCITED...tonight is the night my family arrives Babies to spoil, big and little

I don't think I consider myself an antique, as much as I do a glass of fine wine, we are much better when aged

Running a little late this morning, trying to do too much before taking off...what day does Tony leave for his trek to find the turkey?
