Pam, the holidays always seem hectic, although our's is much quieter since the kids are grown and out of the house. You get used to the hustle/bustle, but it's also nice to feel relaxed when it finally arrives and just enjoy it. I plan to really pare back gift giving, I had sorta got out of control for a few years, and you know, we are blessed all year long, so I'm keeping that in mind.

Ed, I agree, I'd love to stay in the Tower once, I've been in quite a few of the resorts, but not that one, well to sleep anyway

Certainly was a splurge for us (even w/AP rate) hope it didn't raise the "bar" too high. AKs next on my wish list...anyone ever stay there?

Working on halloween pics, was busy chasing squirrels away...they were trying to get in my window...one time was quite enough for that business.

woo-hoo! Consider it a scouting mission ...DVC is coming late next fall. They're working on refurbing some of the existing rooms, might want to request a room away from the construction zone (upper floors, smaller savannah area)???

He could have stayed there last year with a bunch of friends..but he was too cool for us and had to stay at the Poly.


KS - Deena and I have both stayed there, Savannah and Conceirge and we LOVED it!!! As far as location, its not the easiest one, but it really was nice. My kids loved seeing the anmials and it was realitively quiet, which I was suprised.

I love the pics you posted. Im with the others on this..I want jsut once to stay at the Tower. I actaully love the location of that resort too. A weekend at the tower and then somewhere else for the rest of the week would be good.
