mic - almost the weekend.

feeling sad after dropping youngest DS off for his weekend, always get anxious after I say yes as to all that could go wrong...gotta get a grip.

Ok, Friday afternoon from 3 p.m. DRAGGGGGGGGGGSSS endlessly. I did all my work pretty much already, so I'm just waiting for the whistle to blow to head out.

OHHH....good news about the baby boy One of each, that is awesome...

Bob, did I mention or did I forget earlier to tell you those pictures are wonderful and such happy faces! Didn't know you had enough kids to have a baseball team though........ Loved them all, and Cam looks SO happy, that is a good thing.

Ok, so I'm still having a hard time with the quitting thing, but I haven't touched one so far.

Yep sis is pretty excited she's always wanted a boy. And since this will be their last, it makes it easier to have one of each. She's right though, it will be weird having a boy in the family. It even sounds strange when she refers to him as he, or him.

Well, I have my permit now. So that's one thing down.

Ok, before leaving for work this a.m....I ask ds to please call Verizon to see if we can figure out why we cannot log onto AOL via our broadband...he who even as an adult, I can still sometimes want to give the ole deadly Mom stare to, futzs around saying, "let me see if I can figure it out"....5 minutes later, nope, don't know what's wrong...so I'm out the door. Call him at 10 a.m..."any luck fixing it"...."nope, not sure what is wrong"...."please call Verizon for me"......"they won't tell you anything"......."ok, good-bye"...and I was wanting to let him have it at this point SOOOO dear old dumb Mom comes home tonight, still can't sign on, so I play around a little with this and that............guess what???? we are now back to the AOL family........YAY me........that will teach him to ignore me, I'll fix it myself

Good grief, he had to buy another book at the college bookstore today and it was $95......... Pretty soon he will be up with the rest of you in price.

keisha, i had the steriod shot in the ball of the foot 8 days ago.
he can't do another for 2-3 weeks from the first one. now its a tendon issue.

mac - even though we had to use a transport chair for DS last Dec. it had some advantages for certain attractions. Didn't bring it in June & he had a few bad afternoons...think his foot is finally starting to regrow the bone, we'll know for sure in Sept. I, too, would do whatever to keep my appt. w/the Mouse.

mic - thanks for the encouraging words of wisdom

miz - did you quit smoking...took me 6 years & many attempts , sure could use one today LOL.

DH took me to Red Robin to cheer me up, I insisted the hostess give us a booth in lieu of the crappy table I'd normally accept, *****ed about the food, bought crap I didn't need @ Lowes while DH made his wood run; whatever...reminds me of the gold old PMS days. Starting to chill out a hair now, time to go watch the Steelers get their butts kicked, again.

when he got off it was 3 this morning and i was dozing off and on laying down on the sofa. i figured, he has to sleep sometime so this is my time now.


i think i have to clean the dump soon. mr mac is getting feisty over the mess.

sometimes i listen and sometimes i don't.

since he is not aware of my trip, i think i better start listening soon.......

off for some theraputic shopping

I've decided the overgrown bushes in front now look really shabby since DH has nearly completed the new wall & steps, need a small ornamental flowering tree & couple of bushes. The local stores were depleted. Off to the bigger box stores.

New dept. store opening, Boscov's, think it's a regional chain - shopped there 2 years ago when oldest DS was living/coaching in area. It's perfect for me, a version of old school store w/different depts., major applicances, fash-on (my kiddos taught me that one ), toys even a candy dept that makes fudge to die for - onsite. .

mac - if my boys aren't IM'ing, they're playing the must-have "new" version of the Sims (looks awfully like the old one to me...).

Good morning...I'm here...for a few anyway...I too am off to do some errands and get the blonde put in

KS, I knew Boscov's from 30 some years ago when I lived in PA...and about 3 yrs. ago, we got one here. Sometimes I do real well in there shopping, and sometimes not...just depends. It isn't on my beaten path either, so it sorta has to be a destination on it's own or if I'm out on that end of town. You will have fun though, and yes, they have a candy counter with luscious chocolates. I usually end up there at Christmas getting sugar free chocolates for my in-laws...expensive but they seem to like them.

OK, gotta get on the moooooooooooveee....keep the peace sistas and brothas...........I'll see you this evening for sure!!

he has this habit of working a few hours and then comes back home.

mr mac riding his bike today with the other son.
that should give me about 3 hours of free time.

of course, when they come back home, i'll have to make an attempt of cleaning up this dump.
why start something now when i can do it later....
