Howdy all!

Another sweltering day in our neighborhood - woo!

pam - WDW via Kansas City , never could figure out how anyone can keep it a secret from their kids. Mine are like secret agents, always sniffing around. I think the big tip off would be their clothes disappearing out of their drawers/closets a day or two before the trip...they tend to notice when the underwear's running low.

what a wake-up shout out - revilie, hut - hut!

robots are ok, I'm an old-school Godzilla fan.

BTW, those are my real ears.

It was very hard to keep the secret and I don't know how many times we almost blew it! All of our friends/family knew we were going and they all were great about covering for us.
They thought we were going to spend a few days in Kansas City so they didn't really think about us packing...it was so funny because when we got to the airport Noah--who was 7, said "look an airport, should we go there and fly to florida? We were laughing so hard. Then when we were in the parking lot we told them that it was our hotel parking lot....they totally believed us! Here is the picture of them when we told them where we were really going!

I've actually been expected to work this morning what the heck?? crazy huh??

Pam, you will be packed and out the door early Saturday...remember our motto..."We work well under pressure".....

I am sure i will power pack like i usually do which i guess is better anyway...that way i know what i pack since i do it all at the same time.
The good thing is we are on our own schedule...we don't have to catch a plane or anything so if we are running late it really isn't a huge deal!

Evening friends...

looks like we are going to get a thunderbumper of epic proportions...it is dark as heck and you can smell the rain.........wow, it cooled it down to 91 degrees

Yes KS, new pic of my baby....I accidently erased the other one while adding CCB, so I thought I'd put a new one up....in his Red Sox bandana...ya know, sticking by his team and all........ We make him wear it whether he cares or not...LOL...

Tonight is full night of reality TV BB7, Rockstar and then Contender starts tonight on ESPN...I'll no doubt tape it though and watch later...I don't always make it till 11 p.m. before falling asleep. We watched the first Contender and liked it. I think Momma watched some of it too...although I think she just likes the muscles..

Chip and Dale pretzels are GOOD........if he leaves a trail of those, I'm following. Goofy Burgers (the little gummy thingys) are good too. I always bring a couple of those home to my son.

Hot here too Pam, but our temps are down to 90... that big storm that rolled in around us dropped NO rain or storm on us, just all around the area...fixed everything on my front porch so it wouldn't upset or blow away, then nothing...if I had not gone out there, it all would have been all over the place

yesterday was the services and burial of my uncle i talked about before.
i couldn't be on line .

today is a new day, and life is for the living so slowly i will get back to it.

so nice of him.
i like most of the chicago teams.
bears, 1985 was the best one for me. i won over $100 on that superbowl foot ball pool.......

Morning all!

I'm with Mac---slow moving!! I can't afford to be slow...seems like i have so much dang stuff to do! I totally forgot to take my van down last night to get the oil changed, tires checked...you know everything you do when you go on a road trip...now when Malarie gets here I will have to take it down and walk back in this hot hot weather! oh well, i guess i will get my execise in today!
