Couldn't get on all day yesterday...thought I was banned. Kept getting what looked like Alien writings when I tried to post...don't snicker, they check in with me periodically since my last abduction.

mac has a mac no need to cover me today, I pulled them back over my head myself @ 6:30 a.m. - why on a Sunday would I wake up so early?

mic - love the rootin', tootin' sheriff.

all the pics of God's creatures are very cute too...that's a big bunny...he wouldn't last too long @ my ex-inlaws house...they'd like to invite him for dinner. Sicko's, so gross...furry friends, not food.

Jules, the little bunny is a cutie...that big guy reminds me of what Peter Cottontail must really look like...LOL..

KS, I liked the rootin' tootin' copper too... I thought he was so cute. When I get bored, the others know by now, I start with the smilie posts and picture posts..hence the animals and such last night. That dog with the glasses cracked me up.

Think I might take a walk, it is so nice here this morning, plus I've been going on one for the last 3 weeks or so and not done it yet, might surprise myself and go do it. I fill full and rested, I slept in yesterday and today. Yep, I usually wake up at 6:30 on the weekends too, just a habit, but this time I just rolled over, pulled the covers up and went back to sleep.

We went for our walk...it was so nice, but you can tell I've been sitting around too much, I could sure feel it in my legs, but it feels good. Wore little doggie out I think, he is downstairs napping. Ran vacuum when I got back, and plan to just sit back til time to fix dinner.

The way kids dress, in those pajama looking pants they wear to school , walking in your robe and slippers would be fine.... Mac, shouldn't matter what you wear to church, the lord just wants you there!! or so says my husband when I say people just don't know how to dress anymore for certain ocassions............

I can't believe I'm saying this, as I've gotten plenty of sleep this weekend, but I feel like a nap would be nice right about now.........

Not at all. I'm right there with you . Hate heat and especially humidity . I move as little as possible outdoors when it's hot and humid .

howdy - wondered if I'd still be able to post or the server wouldn't be serving again. Didn't mean to cause a ruckus! No sound yet unfortunately. Have you checked out www.doombuggies.com ? Lots of scary sounds there. Someone beat me to the proper spelling of Doombuggy, had to improvise. Got a license plate @ Haunted Mansion that's spelled the same...put it on the front of my black Buick Rendezvous (every time I go for I drive I pretend I'm @ HM) hurry back.....

Started to pack (& unpack - too much crap) DH sez lighten the load, or else...reminded me we used to just take carry-ons. The older you get, the more stuff you need.

I haven't done my hour of walking for a very long time...I'll be the one struggling to keep up in the 95 degree heat next week @ the world. I really should know better.

I hate that whole pj as out-side wear. Not too keen on flip-flops as dress shoes either. Saw a grandpa-age guy yesterday in front of me in the grocery store line with FUBU baggy pants hanging off his hips, threatening to fall all the way down. Unfortunately, he forgot to wear boxers & the view gave new meaning to butt crack. I was a captive audience.

You know those boxer shorts that are jersey material with like a black elastic band, that had the Disney characters on them? we used to sell them at TDS...well, I recently saw a gal out in them as outerwear ...#1 she was not a teen #2 they were so stinkin tight, they were like a second skin..not at all what I would consider something to wear in public..

At least you were amused and entertained at the grocery store by grandpa-baggy drawers

Oh boy, you are off to the land of fun in less than a week...you are good, packing today. I'm such a last minute get it together person. Seems half of what we take has to be washed so it can travel with us, so I'm always right to the last packing. I usually start laying things out though that need packing and making a list so I don't forget stuff...ya know they say the mind is the first thing to go.................

Waiting for Deadwood to come on tonight..... Sopranos kinda let me down, so I'm hoping Deadwood picks up the pace and keeps me wanting more
