The rest of you might want to wait to take a shower. I took a wicked hot shower this morning.

I was in there at 5:15......and I had plenty of hot water :cool1:

I forgot to tell you all. DH is so excited. They are opening up a Texas Roadhouse right near our house. I think this is going to be Dh's new favorite place to eat. I'm happy for him. He is always in a good mood once he has food that he likes in him.

I guess I always figured you were the one that needs to take cold showers all the time.

HA! With all the company that has invaded my bed lately.....I don't need anything cold.... :lmao:

talk about a wakeup call.

morning all

mac - have a safe trip

I prefer very hot baths & cold showers...got in the habit when hairdresser told me that it closes the hair follicle on processed hair (do think mane looks better/shiner).:sunny:

I heard that too. That you are suppose to wash your hair in cold water. But..I just can't do it. I used to when I was younger..I'm too old for that now.

Usually, I cheat & just do the final rinse in bracing, cold water...@ least it wakes me up in the am. Somehow, I don't think that's what they have in mind when people say "...go take a cold shower":sunny:

morning all!!

first day of school here today :guilty: both of the boys were pretty scared/excited this morning.

i was kinda cold last night too...dang you ocm

have a safe trip mac!!!

I heard that very hot shower boosts your metabolism also :confused3 as it makes your heart race :confused3 hey, anything people say that peps my metabolism is a good thing :cool1:

KS, feeling better today?

So, the saga of my youngest grandson......his father (he is on the bad-son-list right now ;) ) wasn't paying close enough attention to him, and he dropped a 12 lb. weight on his little foot!! :sad2: His bones are so soft yet, that nothing is/was broken, but it is contused (sp??) from the top of his foot all the way to the bottom. To keep it immobile so it will not get any damage to it and heal properly, the poor little guy is in a cast up to his knee. Needless to say, accidents happen and I know that (I raised 2 boys and my oldest was always an accident waiting to happen) but I fussed at ds about watching him better. Geez, I was such a perfect mom.. ;) :rolleyes1 I expect the same from my kids as parents......j/k....they all feel awful it happened. So grandma needs to get out and get him a little treat to send off in the mail.

Where is our Ed? We have cause to celebrate this morning and we gotta get wired for this weekend..........Muffy, we are counting on you to be on our side also  cause sticky fingers will be rooting for that other bunch.... :sad2: :furious: :stir: :p Let's hope she can only answer us in smiley code this weekend........LOL

Morning to all testers, newbies and lurkers..........that is MY shout this morning :wave2:

Missed your post Pam, we clicked at the same time :teeth:

Hope the kids have a good first day........ahh....it's hard seeing them off, no matter what their age

pam - got your kleenex handy...hope the kiddos have a great 1st day of skool:banana: . My guy starts on the 28th (boo-hoo).

mac - owwie for your grandson, presents always make boo-boo's feel better...our kids are unfinished works in progress.:sunny: Jer is still hiding from me:rolleyes: , know he's alive since he showed up for practice of jr high football team he's coaching (I have spys everywhere).

We're both leos (stubborn coots) I can wait him out though...still po'd, found my lawn flamingo flung into a bush. Now, that's just going too damn far.;)

Mic - I am sorry about your grandson. Poor little thing. But that is why accidents are called that. I hope the little guy feels better soon.

Pam - happy first day of school for your kiddos. I hope they have a good year and a fun day. Don't blame me for being cold last night. It's the people that keep the room at 40 degrees. Maybe you need to put more clothes on when you sleep.

KS - Im sorry Jeremy is still hiding. That is very frustrating. At least you know he is alive and still showing up for his responsibilities, football practice.

TVT - If there are too many people in your bed then you need to sleep on the couch. Change rooms.

I'm not racing my coconuts or dancing.... :rotfl2: :sad2: :rolleyes1

Oh you better get up and dance and let vicky and Joe video you. It's tradition now at Ohana. Someone has to get their video posted on the internet. Ask Kelly all about it.
