Good Morning everybody.
A spanking for what, what did I do now? :confused3
Hello Gigantor (sweet is too young to remember) Ft. Wilderness was my families favorite spot to go when I was kid, I miss River Country too I wish they would make it a resort pool, I get the fact they cant use the lake water anymore, but it would be nice to have a big water park in the area.

And you've inspired todays sunrise. OK its not a sunrise but its the morning Photo:

I put in for a job transfer to KNOXVILLE, TN. :cool1: I lived there when I was a child before moving to NY and the back to Tn but only in Memphis. I've always wanted to go back to Knoxville....It will be 6 hours from my family as opposed to 14 where I am now. I'll know something within 45 days..... :goodvibes

Good luck!!! I hope you get what you want! Family is important, that is one of the biggest reasons I am still in Nebraska!!! Well that and the big corn cobs!! :teeth:

AWE!!! Thanks, you are so sweet! I try my hardest! I just hope that some day my kids will look back and say, "You know, my mom was/is the greatest!"

I believe football camp starts August 9th and then the actual season won't start until after labor day i believe.

Noah is expressing intrest in joining a track club. I know there is one in my hometown for kids upto 6th grade. I am really thinking about it as it would be a great opportunity for him. My neice is going to Baltimore next week to participate in Nationals in the high jump! :thumbsup2

That would be from April to June so now Noah has to decide if he wants to do this track, soccer, or traveling baseball! I am not going to let him do all of them...that will be way to much for a 9 year old to do!

OOHHH. I ran track in high school. wicked fun!!

i just thought of that second question for mr robot man.

the first thing i thought of when i saw his siggie was a perculator.

no one uses those things anymore.
i use a Bunn.......like the ones in resturants.

2 of my sons are into anime big time. todd has blown $300 at a time for things.

i hope i don't become like muffy and forget the question to ask mr g robot man if he stops by again.

lately we have been getting a lot of passerbyers and i think we scared off this guy when he got on the wrong thread. i think this guy is probaly the 12th person to test a siggie and get here. hahahaha.....then they don't know what to say. i did it myself 2 years ago.

well, that's exactly how this thread started.
i was testing my siggie and messed up big time and titled it test.
i didn't realize i created a thread.

soon after my mistake, there were 3 additional posts on it.
then boom !! the birth of the test thread.

but then, you all know that.

i need coffee. bbl

:moped:

pam, aren't you worried about football season??

he could get hurt...

2 of my sons did football and i could never enjoy watching the games.

i was too busy being worried they would get hurt.

and then they would be so embarassed if i ran up to them if something happened to them

let me tell you and sweets..........the hauling the kids around for dance, camp, sports at this age is a piece of cake...

it gets really time consuming when they get older.

and then when they get a license, all you do is worry about them everytime you hear a siren go off...........

I played rugby in college and my mom was ok, until she saw a game. Then she never came back for the same reason. She said it was just too dangerous to watch.

I don't want them to get hurt but I have realized that i can't shelter them either! I want them to learn and participate in everything they can because you can never take back your childhood! I wish i would have done more things as a child but I do understand that my parents couldn't get all 5 of us everywhere we wanted to go. I promised myself that I would let me kids try the things that they wanted to try even if i don't like it...like wrestling, football etc.

I would have LOVED to be on the swim team when i was little but my mom couldn't drive me to the practices 2 times a day so I couldn't do it...that is why i try to let my kids try all the things they want to try. If they like them great, if they don't then they have to finish what they started and move on...no quitting half way into it!
