No just was staying up past my bedtime. I have been really good about keeping up with my wrapping with the exception of Evan and Connor. Thats because usually christmas eve I decide whats from mom and dad and whats from Santa. I probably will be off to bed pretty soon though since I took some benedryl earlier for my congestion--it always makes me sleepy.

but it is too cold in the family room......my electric blanket is on my bed


maybe i will go channel surf for awhile. i get nights like this where i can't sleep.......i get tired, but not much in the zzzzzzzz's department

Good Grief. Matthew told me it was cold upstairs. I havent turned on the heat upstairs because its to much with the heat on downstairs--which I have on 70 right now so I cant imagine how it can be cold up there. So I go upstairs and someone (either Michael or Travis) has turned on the AC! WTH!
first of all if it gets hot in their room open up a dang window.

Brown as in UPS men is good, brown as in wooden, as in previous mailings is not, nor is brown deposited in little pants too swift Deena, sorry you still have sniffles too, that Benedryl always does me in too. That is funny about the boys and the ac..........while the rest of us are wrapped in electric blankies, your boys are cold because they put the ac on in their room

Mac, at least if you decide to buy some new ornaments, everything is on sale!! I have always bought the Lighthouse Series from Hallmark, had 7 of them and then decided last year to give up..............welllllllllll.....I see someplace that this years, #9 is sold out....not sure if it is the last one or its just popular, so I figure I guess I should have continued with them....so I got on ebay and got 8 & 9.......the two together were cheaper than at the card shop even wtih shipping....so I feel good, I have them all now. Hopefully when the kids sell all my crap when I'm gone they'll be worth something...I can hear them now......."wth did Mom have all this sheetz for"....

i received an email, a chain type of one, yesterday.

since the ACLU now feels we should stop saying merry christmas and call it by "happy holidays" the chain letter requested we take action.

it said all should send a merry christmas card to the ACLU in new york and flood their mail system................it's something they don't have the man power to handle. and then, they might take the hint to leave the merry christmas as it is ........

i never thought of that before.
and i received the email from a person that doesn't celebrate christmas or believe in it......

There was a big debate in this in Washington. The president sent out Happy Holiday cards and they turned the National Christmas Tree to the National Holidy tree.

My attitude is this. The President sending happy holiday cards, I dont have a probelm with. He doesnt send them to only Christians and there are a few seasons out there. He is recognizing the season for which ever you beileve.

That being said, it is completely rediculous to call the National Christmas Tree a Holiday tree. No freaking other holiday decorates with a tree and you dont see the big Menorah that they have displayed being labeled the Holiday Menorah.

mic: i was just planning to go to kmart and get ornaments. either target or kmart for some regular nothing fancy tree hangers.
can't do the hall mark store until i shop for my sons. i don' t think they are the ornament type of guys.
