definitely a pattern, its now evening and I could use one............

A very productive day getting stuff done, but I still did not get everything I needed.......it was like a zoo today everywhere I went...and I got a haircut and got the oil changed in the car, which all whittled away the morning and its was lunchtime before I started hitting the stores I needed to go to...much too late....earlier is better.........I'm beat though....

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO......I came home and on my kitchen table was a BOX addressed to ME.................. Inside was THE nicest SS gift....something that is SOOOO MEEEEEEEE....its screams Mic..........it is the cutest snow scene with Mickey and the Gang with little snowglobes on it and it winds up too with music..............THANK YOU so much SS Pam....you found the perfect gift for me....nope, don't have a thing like it and I love it...thank you ever so....I was very surprised and I appreciate it very, very much.....

To answer your question Pam.......

we have a family breakfast here at the house for anyone that wants to drop by....it usually is between 20 or 25 people dropping in...after they all clear out usually by noon, I tidy up and we kinda re-coup....LOL....then it will be dinner at my SIL's....which this year may only be about 8 of us...my dh's oldest brother and wife usually then have a set out on New Years Eve...so between us we all have something that we can all congregate at and see everyone........we stopped the running around years ago when our boys were little.......it was too much and they just wanted to stay home and play. So those are the plans.

I stopped by Bath and Body today (where I'm supposedly employed... ) and I was asked to work the night time sale set up on the Monday night after Christmas, so I'm thinking I might do it....keeps me a discount to hit up the big sale that will start on Tuesday...

Right now, I am witing for Lee to tell me when we are leaving for DC so I can plan out my days. I thought we were leaving tomorrow, but apparently, we may not leave until Wed. That changes a few things for my days there.

That sounds nice..just a layed back time! I sometimes wish that we could do that but then again I am thankful I have family to spend the holidays with.

That is cool that you still have a "job" there! Hey anything to give ya a discount!! Did you all know that I still get 50% off at the pizza place I helped out at? Yeah, haven't worked there in a few months called there a couple weeks ago and then gave me the discount...i think it is all in who ya know!

Well, whatever day you get on the road Momma, take it easy driving up here....traffic will be a bear this week on 95........heck, it was a mess just in town today.......sheesh, people were acting bizarre behind their wheels today.

I'm so tired this evening, so I think I may go watch TV for a bit and relax....may do some baking tomorrow........I'm not in the mood, but the boys will be wanting their Christmas sweets.....hmmphf...you'd think I'd be sweet enough for them wouldn't ya?????

i received an email, a chain type of one, yesterday.

since the ACLU now feels we should stop saying merry christmas and call it by "happy holidays" the chain letter requested we take action.

it said all should send a merry christmas card to the ACLU in new york and flood their mail system................it's something they don't have the man power to handle. and then, they might take the hint to leave the merry christmas as it is ........

i never thought of that before.
and i received the email from a person that doesn't celebrate christmas or believe in it......
