okay i am back...it is a huge pita to take those kids to school but i will continue to do it until it gets cold here then i will find someone to take them because i don't want to take them all out in the cold.

mac--have fun at school today...hope they are good for you!

mic--don't yell at anyone on the phone today...and i will stand second in line for my turn to contribute to the fun!

ed--don't you have a birthday coming up!?!?!?

adam--are you getting tired of cooking and making the coffee? maybe you can take over for mac today and be the sub!!!

ocm--that is cool that nico's school will let him miss! You will have to tell us all what it is like to live at disney world!!

Oh, cool, momma is moving to WDW for the month of October...YIPPEE...what fun.....tell his school it is an educational trip, he will be visiting countries.......

Pam, I don't envy you dragging out all those littles to school....I hated just taking 2 out and putting in car seats....

Ed, loved the ariel of Pop...so cool! You are famous too, so glad momma pointed that out.

boy i am having one disaster after another this afternoon.....



decided to pull the shorts and tops out for my trip.
tried all on and none fit.

where in blazes can i buy shorts at this time of the year?
we only had about 6 hot days of 90 this summer where i am and i wore the same old stretched out faded jean shorts for those days.


my nike shorts, the waterproof ones are the same way, can't shrink them and no belt loops.




maybe this is a sign that i shoulld eat a lot at the mother land and fill out the shorts.

that is good that your shorts don't fit...you can be like me with my jeans and forget a belt then keep pulling them up all night! Can you wear a belt with them or are they to big for that...not the nike ones the other ones?

i only have two shorts with belt loops.
guess i will wear the same 2 shorts for 14 days...........yuck.
or i could just kept yanking the elastic ones up.



have to get the big cheese in 5 minutes from the train station.
but that is about 3 minutes away.

Mac - Kohls has shorts for $5 I know..I just bought a few.


And while not fitting into your clothes is a nice problem..it is still a problem.

and i have no clothes to wear............unless you count dresses




ocm, i went to kohls on last weekend and no shorts there.
they already did their summer sale in ealy august. only have the fall stuff out now.


our seasons here don't last as long as those in the south.
our heat in the summer happens around july 4th.

last week, some of our neighbors had their furnaces on. yesterday and today was hot, it hit 83 here and that is rare. the leaves on my apple trees have started to turn brown already.

once labor day hits, its all down hill weatherwise.






yes, nice to lose the size but what to wear for the trip.
shorts go on sale in april, sometimes late march in the midwest here.

the nice thing about florida is that you can buy summer style clothing all the time there.
