yes mac i remember that too when we used to yak all hours of the night! Seems everyone is busier or something!

I did salvage some leftovers and mic--you pepperoni is on it's way too but....with the gas prices it may cost a small bundle for delivery!

just filled up my tank that was half full...cost me $30. it was $1.59 so i think i got a good deal. everywhere else in town is $1.75...boy i can't wait till those prices sky rocket!

Our gas hasn't been that low in months.........it is anywhere from $2.57 to $2.73 for regular....I'd take your under $2 price anyday..

mic--i reread my post and i misquoted myself!

i got gas for $2.59 a gallon! not $1.59 duh--i don't know what i was thinking!! i guess it was wishful thinking!!

anyway, it should be a good easy day here today! I will be down 2 and one of the two is heathen boy! I wish it were one of the babies though...not that they aren't good now but they require more work! oh well--can't have my cake and eat it too! although i do like cake!

ocm is trying to figure out how to fix herself so she don't have to have another surgery...

adam...is under tons of paperwork because he stayed out of work to long to play!

good morning all, it is now.......

that day of the week that no one gets married on

wish our gas prices were that cheap.....try $3.09/gal as of this morning.

i can see it going to $5 a gal by the end of the year.
we do have it better than europe. GB pays $8/gal but not gal metric version for the last 6-7 years.


was up early but busy and now pposting.
this was the morning to take my cat in for the surgery and i just got back home about 30 minutes ago.
at 5:30 she was crying for food and love. i couldn't even give her water.
so i made a pot of coffee and sat in the backyard drinking it. trying to ignore her pleas.
i am very hopeful she wil do fine in the surgery. the vet said this morning it will take between 1 - 2 hours and i can call at noon to see what is up. she will stay there until released which could be between 4-6 today.



the dishwasher comes today at noon. woo hoo........you can bet i will try it out as soon as the installer leaves.


and how are mic, ocm, deena, pam, ed and adam today. maybe i should do the list next time in alphabetical order so no favortism is cried out.

deena, just heard on the news that the superdome is being evacuated and two shelters also.

taking the people to houston and another texas city to have refuge in their stadiums. that is wonderful of the texans to help so readily.


yea, 2 more days on the countdown and the boy becomes a man !!

but then, mine never did at that milestone but maybe yours will.

anyhoot, he has a calculator that is a worth a week of groceries so that makes him a man

yes I heard they are taking them to the Astrodome. Poor ppl. We also have some in shelters here and one furniture store--Gallery Furniture--the owner is letting whoever needs a place to sleep to sleep there at night and feed them for free. Im gonna take some clothes down there I think incase some ppl need them. With 4 boys its not hard to find clothes that dont fit anyone.

dallas is the other city that are taking people in, just remembered that.

the day prior of mandatory evacuation i read that in the city of houston any car with LA plates could have free parking anywhere.

such a wonderful city to live in deena.
i wish other cities would be so generous.

once the highway into the destroyed areas are fixed, a lot of people will be able to get the services and needs they have to have. i am talking basic needs, food and water.

since mic was mia this morning, do you think she will check in on her lunch hour? i hope so...........

and pam retreated back into the closet due to pee pee boy with her.

and ocm is vegging out now with two kidlettes in school.

and adam will surface when he can see the top of his desk.....

hey adam, we girls can help you !!
mic knows how to play on the computer now and she can do that for you.
ocm and i know how to talk on the telephone, so we can take your phone calls for you.
deena knows how to talk back so she can tell your boss to shove it for you
and pam can make you lunch......she slings pizza or if you have an oops, she can change diapers.
