morning all!

have a few seconds before the kids get her today.

trents team won last night so now they get to play for 1st and 2nd thursday night! I can't believe how much they improved from the beginning of the year--they were like the bad news bears!!!

So now on thursday if noah wins we will have 2 ball games and a swim lession! I can't wait to get to disney so i can relax!!!



Okay, this is making me nervous....has anyone ever been to FL during a hurricane?????

Yes Pam, I've been in several hurricanes in Florida and Georgia....we can chat later when I have more time....you will be FINE....the trip will be FINE....so glad the team won!!!

todd is going to school this summer which means i get up at 5:15 to take the dh to work (train station) so the toddster can have the car.

Well as I was sitting down to watch the All star game, Connor who was just told to stop wrestling with his brother, gets knocked into the door by his older brother and hits his head on the door jamb and ends up with an bump on his forehead the size of a golfball. So we pack up and head off to the ER, we do the usual ER shuffle come sit in this room, now this one, fill out this, sit here, by this time the golf ball is now a mosqutio bite. The Dr. comes over shines a light in his eyes, ears mouth feel the bump, tells us to give him Tylenol, wake him up once during the night to make sure he is OK limit his activity for the next 24hrs(does this guy have a 3 yr old) and just watch him

Ed it seems your boys listen as well as mine do! lol So far we have been to the ER with 3 of the 4 boys (Im still clinging to the hope no trip for the last remaining holdout, Evan).
At 8 or 9 Michael decided to start carving our Halloween pumpkin before I got out side. Carved his finger instead--no stitches but it was taped and splinted,
Michael sent Matthew to the ER after a rough football game in the yard. He landed on Matthews foot pulling 2 ligaments in his foot. Crutches and no football (matthew also played on a team) for a few weeks. And our last trip involved Connor (a shock I know), our fireplace and a gash on the forehead. Luckily we could get the liquid stitches--superglue!
Why didnt my boys come with a disclaimer?? lol

deena, i just read this on another board that airtran and southwest are going to start on august 18 deep discounts.

$49 tickets to orlando, (one way) out of selected airports. the poster stated she is leaving pittsburgh and was told many other airports will have the same sale.


i don't know if this is a ding or special going on.

i received an email from spirit for a 24 hour sale only for flights costing $39 and 49 to orlando. dates of travel start mid august and go to sept 30.

thats my airline. woo hoo..........

Evening..........boy, I go away, and the little boys are going to the ER...and getting bumps.............. It was normal around this house....oldest had rounds with stitches a couple times, youngest was always the recipient of the wounds from older bro, but escaped the ER or stitches..............so what you're relating brings back memories.... Oldest still has a nice cressent shaped scar in his hairline on his temple, that could have been quite a bleeder (it was so close to some main vein in the head) after a good tumble off the bike...um....racing down an alley that was a hill, lost control and threw himself off the bike...can you think road burns on stomach, legs and arms, plus the head wound............dh calls me and says, oh, he had a little accident, and when I see him after his trip to the Dr....he is in gauze and looks like a mummy........... Actually Ed, that is a good thing that the "egg" came right out on his head, that is what you want it to do....we lived through many of those....LOL...they were a common thing around here. I sure do hope that Connor feels better tomorrow though and all is well.....can the other boy sit down???

Not much happening, we got a lot of errands run today and it was so stinking muggy here..............blech................

I'm off for a bit to watch my show............but I did watch earlier on HBO a show about Mickey Mantle....I love a baseball legend ya know

Wonder if Adam got his ribs? He ought to be coming back home soon...we've missed his breakfast this week.

Pam, I bet she is packing............plus big ball games right up until they leave...hope the guys to good and leave town winners!!

just got home from noah's game and they did come back winners!!! It wasn't looking to pretty at first but they came back and out scored them.

i don't know how it is going to work yet tomorrow...aubrey has swim lessions at 6:45p.m. and trent and noah both have games at 7:30pm. I hate when they both play at the same time especially in tourneys.

I haven't started packing yet and probably won't do so until saturday. I do however have list upon list upon lists. I am starting to make a list of email addies just in case we get to the postcards.

sorry to hear about your ds ed--hope he feels better! I know that is scary when they hit their heads.

I'm calling the Dr. about my eye today, it has been weird for almost a week now and I'm not sure what is wrong with it...

Momma, I'm glad you packed the kid............ what are you doing with the other 2 ??
