about our santa swap, i was told to send it out so it arrives by christmas.
so i was going to send mine out around the 19th.
now if that is all changed, let me know.

it would be better if we all sent the swaps out on the same date.

Morning Mac - I am sorry it is yucky there. I think it is yucky here too. I did say everyone should get their gifts to the person by xmas. So, I think that should still be the date. I dunno about saying this is the day you have to mail it. It is hard for me to get to the post office with three little people. So, I am going to get there today or tomorrow...but we can say that no one open it until a certain date. What do you think?

I would think as long as everyone has their gifts posted to arrive by Christmas, it should be fine...but whatever is decided...I'm ok with that....I'm one of the bunch...I'm easy I know mac has her's and is ready to send it...she is on the ball...

Another busy day for me...little guy comes in a couple minutes and gotta get busy....may set up my Christmas lighted village today...I agonize too much fooling with it...so I better start early..

yet another wet nasty day geuss thats ok, have to pay a few bills today and go look at a couple of jobs to do, hopefully we get at least one of them. going to take all these extra pieces i've made the last few days up to a local shop that will display them for me, hopefully the extra 4 will sell also have to go to grocery to day we are about out of grub decided to eat up what was in freezer before we restocked and itys down to one meal left there

I have a story abou that. I was organizing a fund raiser for a little girl. I had to bring all the food and I had it at Gymboree..so I rented the place and blah blah. I packed up the car to go home after it was over. Put Nico in and piled everything around him and drove off. I forgot JULIE!!! She had slept through the whole thing and I had just had her (she was 2 weeks old) and so I wasnt in the routine of getting her.

going to work in a bit, doing grade school for a change and they start school at 8:50 but i have to check in by 8:15.

i'll go along with what you all decide on the presents. i was under the impression mail to receive by christmas so i had planned to mail mine this coming weekend. if all of you are mailing early, we could do as ocm stated and open on a certain date.............i'll do whatever you tell me to do.

ocm, so glad you are back. like mic said, details, details, details........and how was the weather there????


remember in high school days when you had to ask your friends what you all were wearing to school that day before you got dressed?? well not you ocm you went to a private girls, assuming uniform school, that makes me think of when do we open question. lol

one question, when we get our packages, are we allowed to shake it?
i hope not because the one that gets mine might break whats inside.

i did that once you know forget a kid.
i picked up three of the boys from school, went home started to fix them a snack and the phone rang. it was the pre school asking me where i was.
pre school was out for over an hour and i forgot to get the youngest one.
probably due to the fighting in the car with the others..................
i usually got that kid first but it slipped my mind for some reason.........but i am actually a very good mom..............

who ever recieves the two i'm packing better not shake em they are breakable. ( and werent the easiest thing to make either : ours will probably go out today or tommorrrow, depends on when i can get into buddies stoire room at work to steal , i mean borrow packing materials thinking about doing over sized boxes for strategic surprise effect toodebateing ups or fed ex,, but decided with all these people that work usps may be best bet

secret was always wayyy to vocal to forget we have forgotten what time to pick her up and been late before though one of the girls at the tea saturday forgot her daughter was in detenion and didnt go to pick her up from school kid walked 5 blocks and a friend saw her on street and picked her up and brought her to the library i still need to upload those pics too.. hmmmm maybe later

Adam, I was always in trouble for my skirt being too short. They didnt take into consideration my height!

Mac - I had a uniform at both schools coed and all girls.

Dont you hate it whan you forget a kid. Luckily ours werent old enough to remember. At least they wont have that on their list of things to tell Operah!

No shaking gifts!! That is cheating, besides too many people have breakable things. Ok do you want to set the date for the 24th? That is a Friday. Everyone open their gifts on Friday...is that good for everyone?

Ok Gang....all the questions about our secret santa are getting funny!! We should have set Secret Santa Rules 101 before we started...LOL....again, whatever is fine with me....I know that mine will not reach the post office until later this week....(its not wrapped nor boxed yet)

Mac and Ocm, you forgot your kids, that's funny....there have been many times when I wished I could have left mine someplace...just kidding...I also am a good Mom..... can't help it the boys were bad!!

Talking about asking friends what are we wearing to school today...and short skirts...I'm old enough to remember when short skirts first started and they would take us out in the hallway at school and measure them to make sure they weren't too short and I remember when I could wear a mini-skirt...yikes those babies were short...I can't believe I went out like that....hubby always says he remembers those days fondly...LOL...
