test Part 10

Pam - this may be the best deal yet. If he gets paid until July, you could get three seperate incomes for a while!! We call that "double dipping" getting paid for one job while work and getting paid at another as well. This could be a great thing:thumbsup2

Loribell - I miss my kids when they are gone too. Not so much right away, but by the time it gets two weeks into it, I do miss them. Although, I've never missed them enough to drive the 10 hours to go get them.:lmao: My mom is great to leave them with..in fact, my kids and I all prefer her to watch them over my DH. The good news is, my DH would pick her to watch them over him too. So at least we all agree.:thumbsup2 My mom keeps up with them great. Infact, she caters to them way more than I do.

I went on a girls trip and flew my mom down to watch the kids. I had a blast, so if you are able to do it..go for it.:thumbsup2

MW - I'll give you an easier one, which president never attended a single day of school? Which two presidents are buried in Arlington National Cemetery?

Mic - Did you get the bike?

Mac - I hope you don't feel any pain

Keisha - hang in there with the fast food. Life gets in the way with our diets. Just let it go and try to do better tomorrow. What did the Dr say?

No bike today, but according to tracking, it should be showing up tomorrow!! :cool1:

Good incentive, I'm watching the Biggest Loser.....:thumbsup2

I guess I'm the 1st one up this morning. Actually...I just got in. I got a last minute invite to attend a Muscular Dystrophy Association fundraiser in New York. Since I had nothing to do I said sure. I was right there hob-nobbing with the celebs again. I tell you, I have never been to stuff like this before. Tonight I met Miss New York, 2 female football players on a pro womens team (I had no idea they existed), and a bunch on New York Giants. (Ahmed Bradshaw, Jeff Feagles. Brandon Jacobs, Sam Madison, Justin Tuck, Richard Jefferson and Howard Cross)

Of course I got a pic with me and H. Crross. He makes me look like a peanut and I'm a Big Dude!!!

Pam, I hope all works out for you.

Sweets, I love ya!

Mic, good luck with the bike.

I told all the Giants to beat the COWBOYS!!!
None of them gave me a promise!

Good night all!

Good morning to all.....a little rainy this morning, but promise of clearing off, supposedly all 50's this week but cooler evenings...makes me happy, I can see the fuel company crying cause we don't need much heat and their goes all their gouging...I mean profits off us poor folk

Gant, how exciting for you!! I couldn't get your picture link to open, but I know you looked awesome. Pretty soon you won't be hanging with your old test buds, you'll be hobnobbing with society ;)

OMGOSH...the scale moved, well it moved only 2 lbs., but I'll take it, I feel like behaving myself with eating is at least paying off :worship: When I see something like that, my incentive stays up......

Ok, enjoy the day my friends.......off to confinement for 8 hrs.

Morning all :)

Not a good way to start the morning for us -- wind knocked out our power around 3am and we just got it back on about 15 minutes ago. :headache:

Good luck Pam (and Dave) -- I hope things work out with Dave's job.

my power's cutting in out, hope it's back on this time for good

back yard full of neighbors "junk"; need to toss it back over the fence;)

my arbor wound up in the street, hope the mini lights still work

gant - no pic for me either, u r our jetsetter - hob-nobbing with all the celebs:)

a quickie....if I get caught, it's all your faults...:goodvibes

Wind is crazy here also, but in comes in like waves, it will blow real hard, then quit, then start up again....

Bob, I feel for you without power, it is such a hassle, at least some of it was in your sleeping hours

I called AAA to get a quote on the Poly for 4 nights in early Sept...room only $1300 WITH the discount...

Gant - how cool that you got to meet the NY Giants. And I do hope they beat Dallas. I have a friend that has MD. He is 6'7 and he has already lost 1 brother to the horrible disease. I think it is a very noble cause and I am glad you got some benefits yourself.

Mic - WHOO HOOO:banana: It's always a good day when the scale starts being nice to you. 1300 for the Poly..WOW!

Bob - glad your power got turned back on

Keisha - hope you get your yard cleaned up.

Pam - hope you have a good day too.

Did I scare off MW?:confused3 Dang, I seem to do that a lot. Sorry MW..I dont think I am as scary on the boards as I am in person.

When I have had the chance to get away for a conference I have enjoyed it. After a few days I miss the kids but still do enjoy getting away when I can. Really need a get away after bieng with them for two solid weeks with nothing to do. I love to see grandparents that love to have their grandchildren around them. My fil is that way, unfortunately mil is completely opposite.

I really am going to feel bad for the fuel companies, aren't you? ;) Someday they will get theirs.

Way to go on the loss. Keep it up!

Wind blows like that all the time here. I was in Chicago once and couldn't figure out why it was called the windy city. It was nothing compared to what we have here, or at least it didn't seem to be.

Have a great day everyone!

afternoon all.........:goodvibes

doing much better today after yesterday's date with the dentist.

ended up taking off work again today.
have to deal with some legal paper work and i have been putting it off too long.

i told myself i will stay up all night tonight to get it done if i have to.......

gant, i am so proud to be your friend. you do such good works for everyone

yay for the weight loss.
you can do it, yes you can.....:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'm glad you are doing better!!

Hopefully dave will have a different job before then. If not i guess he better roll up his sleeves and help me with the kiddies!!

I'm such a rebel, on here twice today....once again, I'll blame youse guys...:thumbsup2

Mac, how is the nap? I would love to take one about now....

Pam, if Dave has to stay home before he finds a job, make him watch the kiddies and you can sit back and eat bon-bons and watch soaps :yay:

Momma, that was my reaction too $1300....yikes...I would love to stay there though, as that was our first resort we ever stayed at ALL those years ago, and yep, $98 a night :upsidedow I'll figure something out or maybe we will just do something different that isn't so expensive.

nap time over.
always feel more energized to handle things better when i can think straight.

back to the paper work.

catch you later

mic, take a power nap at work.
just don't snore and no one will notice.

Pam - the good thing about Dave he is willing to help out. Have him watch the kids for an hour everyday while you go to the gym. It's win-win:thumbsup2

Mic - Have you ever stayed at AKL? Its a little cheaper and my kids really liked it. Also, since it is still early, you could try to rent points for the Boardwalk for a Standard Veiw. I think it is only 8 points per night or $80 per night no tax (for a studio).

Mac - I think I need a power nap too.

Loribell - Im glad you enjoyed your time away and you are right..you do need a break after two solid weeks of being with them.

Today, I finally said "No". This is a big step for me. I was all ready to go to the gym and almost out the door when my boss calls to ask me to Sub. 9 times out of 10 I say yes, then I always regret it. Today..FINALLY, I said, "I'm really sorry. Call me back if you can't find anyone, but I have to get to the gym."

YEAH ME!!:yay:

ocm - i am not on a diet, don't ever plan on being on one again...prefer to call it more of a lifestyle modification & exercise. For some of us, diets = deprivation and we sabotoge ourselves:upsidedow . Wish i could get excited about going to the gym...if it makes u happy go for it!:thumbsup2 Congrats on "just saying no";)

fyi - they've tightened up the renting of DVC points. Pre-existing reservations must stay in the original names place on ressie (to avoid professional renters booking choice digs & re-renting). The BWV standard is always the 1st to go because of the lower points; and i'd like to think because it's a :cool1: place to stay.

mic - Lucky 1,300! that's alot of mickey bars:goodvibes madame keisha (looking into her crystal ball) still thinks that they will indeed offer free DP in the Sept. Good strategy to book a room only ressie (AAA will work) and hope to flip it over when they announce the next best thing. Disney VISA peeps get 1st crack @ the deals for a day or so, if i see it i'll give you a head's up.

i need to start my taxes, email states the forms will be online Friday?

Glad you are feelingbetter.

Now get out of bed and get that paper work done.

Oh man! Did you have to mention THAT! :headache:

ocm - Good for you telling the boss no! How did the work out go?

Evening all....

Momma, glad you got to the gym, as I know how much you like doing that, and good for you saying 'no' and doing something for yourself...I tend to be a yes person too and regret saying it sometimes, so I know how you feel. I got my bike today! It actually is nicer then I thought it would be. It has a little thingy on it that tells distance, time, speed and calories burned. I don't get a lot of excercise, so I didn't want to make myself extremely sore, so I only did about 15 minutes, went 4.5 miles and burned a whopping 145 calories...LOL...I can feel it in my legs already, so I'm gonna gradually try and do more. As of tonight, I'm glad I got it :cool1: ask me in about a week ;) I did very good eating today also. It took me 3 yrs. to put back 10 lbs. of the original 38 I lost, so I know it won't come off real quick, but I would LOVE to see the 10 lbs. go away, even 5 right now would make me happy. KS, I agree, I don't diet per se, I just try and eat sensibly and cut out the junk. No one loves junk food more then me...and bread....I watch my carbs, that has worked best for me.

mac, did you get the paperwork done? I wish you well.

Yes, we have stayed at the AKL...it is gorgeous there. I'm just being sentimental about the Poly....but we could stay anyplace there and have a good time. Fill me in on renting points, I've never done that nor know much about it. KS, if you hear anything, give me the low down. You watch that stuff so much more then I do. I miss working for Disney at times like this...that discount and free tickets was a nice perk.

Taxes.... it is that time of year again...last year was awful, so I hope we aren't caught again

evening all!

Hey, i like the idea of dave staying here with the kids and me going to the gym!!!! I may have to consider that if he is still out of a job come Feb. 2.

My doggie smells so good right now...i got her groomed today so she is all pretty. One of my parents works there so she takes her in the morning and brings her back when she comes to pick up her kid....works like a charm!:thumbsup2 It's funny because Jacie knows exactly when she gets to go with her...funny how dogs can sense that isn't it?!

mic--i am sure your taxes will be fine this year...you kinda...well no kindas about it...you got screwed last year!! That is alot for the poly...we priced it too and opted for POR instead. I'm glad you got your bike...can you do a few miles for me?!?!

mac--got your paperwork done?

ks--I need to get my taxes done. I called my accountant to send my summer help a 1099 and found out that my accountant no longer works there. :scared1: A notice would have been nice. I think I am going to refuse to go to the new girl....may get interesting!!

ocm--good for you for telling your boss no...i know you have been wanting to cut back on days. I am glad you got to the gym.

LB--my dd(6) loves to stay at my mom's house but not so much at dave's mom's. It is a nice little break when they are gone for a night, but if they are gone longer than a couple of nights i do start missing them.

where did MW go? he must have not liked the idea of taking a test:confused3
gant--forgot to tell you this morning, how cool is that? I am so happy for you to be able to do that. I couldn't pull up the picture either. You are da man!!!!:thumbsup2

Hope everyone has a good night!
