19 more days before Golf Trip 2008

Our "home" course keeps getting more and more crowded, so we're looking outside to other places to play in order to get 36 holes in a day this year.

We are supposed to hit 80 today and near 80 all week....

We are back in the 70's. Don't know how long it is going to last but I hope it stays for a while.

once you start tanning you can't stop...have to in order to cover the wrinkles & sun damage

i haven't gone since before Xmas, need to get back...i'm fading rapidly lol. I do use the moisturizer with some tanning properties in it. Jergens works (has such a odd smell); Avons is better smelling (not by much though). Anyone find a non-stanky one?

i buy my lotion @ beauty supply store=seems to work okay, no tingly nothing for me...hate that stuff.

lori - my ds went back to skool last Wednesday, 2 hours late due to snow delay.

Arbonne makes a great after sun lotion, even helps with wrinkles that come from it and all of their stuff smells really good. They do not have anything for use in the beds though.

I have one more day to make it with the kids. I can not wait for tomorrow to get here.

sorry about the toothies , makes mine ache thinking about it.

i got chewed out by ma's dr.; said i wasn't making her move around enough ; dh wasn't there to give me "the look"...dr got what pieces i have left of my mind with both barrels.

he saw the light, she's going for an epidural in her back for pain via a local pain clinic; like me she can't tolerate narcotics...ironic isn't it?

Dinner was great. We never caught the movie -- nothing we wanted to see was playing within a half hour or so of when we were done with dinner, so we just went home (not that a night home minus kids was a bad option either )

No, my MIL owns a place in Fort Myers in a golf course community. My BIL, myself and a couple other guys have been doing a golf trip late-Jan/early Feb for the past four or five years and most years, we've just stuck to playing the golf course the house is on, but it's getting too crowded lately, now that the whole neighborhood is sold out.

Hey Everyone..

I spent the entire day in bed. I had one of those migraines that kept me in bed almost all day. I took three Alieve and two caffine pills this morning hoping that would help. it took the edge off just enough that by about noon I thought I could get up and go stain my deck. It was not a good move on my part. I was so sick after that and now it is only part done.

The headache is still there, but not mind-numbing. I think I am going to try to knock myself tonight and have the whole thing gone compeletly tomorrow. Painter guy is coming back tomorrow morning to repaint the green to a blue. Maybe I will be able to get out and finish the deck.

TVT - you are going to have to remember to kill me all by yourself. For some reason, I'm not interested in reminding you.

Pam - how was your Monday

Keisha - hang in there with the Dr. I am glad they are giving her the back pain to help her move. I can't take the drugs either. I get extra loopy. I'm sure you will be able to get her up and moving once the pain starts subsiding. Hang in there. Oh, I use this tanning cream called Fake Bake. You sleep on it over night and shower it off in the morning. It's like a stain for your skin, so it probably doesn't last as long as the tanning booth, but I lay in those and think about all the wrinkles it is giving me.

Gant - thanks so much for the awesome fruit this morning. If I am going to eat anything, that is it

Mac - thanks for the offer for the tanning booth, but I just can't do it. I think I have tried those things three times and each time I got up after 5 minutes.

Mic - are you all dedecorated? What ever happened to the lazy work chick?

hee-hee, not only a MM shirt; but bright red MM crocs too fyi, it's from the designer Disney Collection of the Old Grim Reaper chasing MM & Donald ; i wear it to church on sunday too - not lol It is made of the softest cotten though, reminds me of good sheets & very lightweight...bet mic remembers what they're called; got it @ Disney Store - on clearance of course.

ocm - might have to check out the tanning stuff...reminds me of shake & bake...and I helped - lol hope paint fumes don't make your headache come back tomorrow

pam - forgot to mention the day we took the tree down, i hauled DH off to WM (on his day off - HA! to help carry groceries) on a whim i spied a leftover pre-lit Xmas tree still on the shelf...90% off I believe; $7 & out the door how ghetto lol Not the greatest; still better than my "good" one that the dog ate all the lights which will now go out in the den when i'm in the mood to set up 2 trees - some year . DH is going to build a platform & we'll just site the tree on it so she can't reach it. Dumb dog gets my goat. Hope u fare better with your internet

Just wanted to let you know to be very careful taking more Alieve than what it says. I had a friend that was putting off back surgery until she finished a project at work and started taking more than suggested and ended up in emergency surgery because it caused something in her stomach to rupture. I have not taken Alieve since.

I have 4 kids, but two of them are grown. Well, sort of! DD is almost 25 & has a 4 yo. DS turned 23 Jan 1 and has moved back home and is driving me crazy. Then I got remarried and had two more. Second DS turned 16 in October & second DD turned 9 Dec. 23rd.

Oh that drives me nuts. One thing I have started doing when it is taking forever I go ahead and copy what I am trying to post. That way if it goes away I still have it to paste back in!

Then they don't want to vacation with me. I am trying to make this summer's trip go 28 days.
