Oh what fun shopping with the adult kids, they have a way of asking your opinion then ignoring it what's up with that?? I'm sure he will enjoy his new TV. We are taking our cable box in tomorrow, my dh broke me and we are going to upgrade to HD to see what it's all about since we got the new TV.....if it doesn't seem worth the extra 10 bucks a month, it's going bye-bye

Pam, I agree, let's say we got the package but no reveal til all have them...mine will go out no later then Monday...perhaps tomorrow, but not promising that...I'm sitting here instead of packaging it up...

Good morning everyone. Got all of the Christmas shopping done last night with one exception. I couldn't find an electronic banking Monopoly game to save my life. Everyone was sold out. Oh well, I'll just look near where I work.

Off to pay some bills and maybe start my Christmas card mailing. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Mac--i feel your pain...it's snowing here too. I think we probably got 10-12 inches last night and it's still snowing.

Gant--Isn't that frustrating? That is what I had to deal with when I was looking for Aubrey's easy bake oven. There was one recalled (not the one I wanted) so the only things the stores had were the mixes. I finally ordered it online because I wanted to make sure I got one for her. Now I see them all over for $10 cheaper than I paid for hers. Hope you find what you are looking for. If you can't find it let me know and I will look here for it.

Mic--did the snow hit you yet? Have fun shopping my friend!

KS--One of the morning shows said it was okay to regift...as long as you don't leave the tag on it from the previous gifter

Ocm--One of these years we will all have to post pictures with what we got....but I won't do it this year


We have to go to trent's basketball game at 3pm and then Noah has one tonight at 7pm. Noah starts his tourney tonight so will most likely be done tomorrow. Trent starts his tourney tomorrow so we will probabaly have one more week of going to these sunday ball games.
While we are there I intend to finish my x-mas shopping. I just have little things to do like stocking stuffers and the kids still need to get dave something....then I am DONE!!!!

Happy Saturday eve my friends...we were out by 8:30 this a.m....ok, I was ready at 7:45 and dh wasn't he said I never told him what time and he said I'm never ready that early...hey dude, when a gal wants to hit the stores, she is up and ready EARLY...

Got it all done I believe and got stuff to make some goodies for work tomorrow....and yes he kept asking are we done yet

Gant, there is always that one elusive gift on the list...I found mine after several stores were sold out...I wanted the Hallmark Big Papi ornament for my son, forgot all about it being released and the last Hallmark I went in, I found it tucked back on a lower shelf.......

I mailed my cards today.... finally........did not get my Secret Santa out though, the p.office was closed when we left and closed at noon so Monday for sure, and I'll do priority so it travels quickly to wherever its going

On, no snow so far...maybe we are going to get rain tomorrow....I'm ok with missing the fluffy stuff

evening all!

We are finally home from the ball games. We stopped at a store and I actually got alot done and the kids were with us. I just made dave take them to the toys and games and I just shopped. I have dave's mom and dad left now. What do you get someone who has everything?!?!? I do have a few ideas so I may just do that and call it good.

We have ball games again tomorrow at 11am and 3pm so the kids will skip sunday school and their streak of not missing will be gone.

I went to mail my x-mas cards today and my post office close 15 minutes before they were suppose to I guess I will have to do it on monday now...i really wanted to get them out this weekend.

Think I am off to bed...have a good night everyone.

Ugh..how frustrating about your christmas card Pam. I hate when the stores close earlier than expected.

Mic - I know when you set out for a day of shopping..you mean buisness. Glad you were able to get everything done.

Ed - how is your christmas shopping going?

Mac - I'm sure whoever you have this year will understand you not being able to get to the Post Office.

Gant - good luck trying to find your game. They have a ton of them in the stores around here, so if you need me to mail you one, let me know.

I think I am pretty much done with my shopping. I am the room mom in Nico's class, so I went out this morning and got all the party things. As I am typing this, I realized I forgot Samanthas party class stuff. Wed night I am going to be baking all night I have to make cookies for Nico and Julie's classes. How many cookies do you figure for each child? There are 16 in Nico's class and 21 in Julie's...3 cookies per child?

Ok, our new HD box quit receiving the premium channels last night, over the course of several phone calls to Com(sux)cast, I spent at least an hour on hold and never did anyone pick up...so today I'm online trying to chat and I'm 81st in line It is the signal they are sending to that box, cause I'm receiving all the channels upstairs.......did I mention I hate Comcast

Got spaghetti sauce brewing, made some munch mix for work tomorrow and now on the organize and wrap a few presents, plus laundry. Got the tree decorated last night and for all my scrooginess about wanting to do it, it looks nice. One thing about a dark, rainy day, you can put the tree lights on all day and enjoy

I've dropped to 62nd in line on Comcast, my turn is just a couple hours away........

KS...mixed feelings about your game today. The Steelers are my 3rd favorite team behind the Saints and my DW's Jacksonville Jaguars so I kinda was rooting for the Jags today. We were excited because it was the Steelers 1st loss at home this year.

Hi all....was buzzing along with my day when the power went out...was out for about an hour and a 1/2, so I was forced to wrap some gifts, couldn't do anything else. Had to wait to fix dinner, then we were to meet at MIL's to have cake for her 75th birthday...

Just thought I would pop in before I went to bed. Both of the kids lost their games today. Noah is now done and trent still has one loss to go in the tourney until he is done. So we will have to go back sat. at 3pm....I am so ready just to be done with this.

Anyway, sounds like some of you had productive days.
Ocm--i would do 1-2 cookies depending on how big they are. I am sure they will probably be to excited to eat. Do they play any games or anything like that?
