We just got a paycheck. Really it's only half a paycheck..but this is the first in a long time It is a nice feeling. I think I am just about done with Christmas. I have to send my dad and my mom and stepfather something. Oh, and I need to get Sam's teachers gifts.

Oh I sent my Kris kringle gift, but I forgot to say who it was from. So, if you get a random gift..it's from me.

Hello all....my internet here at the house was acting up this morning and I didn't have time to fool with it...grrrrr...and of course NO internet at work right now as we are all 'being watched', plus honestly, I've been so busy at work, no time to play.

All it did was rain here all day...another yucko day...and don't care how much it snows on Saturday, I'm outta here to finish up the last of my shopping...

Sorry, I won't get my secret santa stuff ready for the mail til this weekend, but it will go out Monday for sure!! Unless I can manage to get it 'dressed' tomorrow evening and out Saturday morning....

Good evening everyone. Hope all is well in your worlds. Our Christmas.....I mean End of year party was cancelled today because of our wonderfully timed ice storm.

We'll be doing it in January. Since I'm in charge of snow removal on my site my day was just plain busy busy busy. Not what I was looking forward to.

Big boss man held a meeting where he went over the year in review. I hadn't realized all the change that went on but then again I was too busy to realize it.

I had a chance to do the greatest part of my job today. The day matron that works for us came to me 2 weeks ago to tell me that she suspected 2 other contractors of doing drugs in a bathroom. I had the contractors company issue a drug test and they both tested positive. This day matron didn't want to put other's jobs in jeopardy so she had mixed emotions about coming to me. I told her that she probably helped the two to realize that what they did was wrong and hopefully opened their eyes.

Anyway, I had a Spanish interperatur (sp) in my office and had the day matron come there also. I gave her a recognition card in both Spanish and English and told her what she did was very brave. I also gave her a check for $300 for her loyalty to the company. She was in tears and said that this would be going for Christmas gifts for her child. That just about brought me to tears. I got a huge hug from her and that just wiped away any bad feelings I had had today.

What a wonderful Christmas story you just shared...and it is what the holidays should be all about.......I'm so glad you made her day and also is making it a wonderful Christmas for her....you deserve a big ole

It is true, giving is so much better than receiving...to me it is anyway...don't get me wrong, no one likes a gift more then me but I get so much from giving a gift.

Trent's team lost tonight. They got behind and just seemed like they gave up. Then I took Aubrey to her daisy's, and now I am home in time to watch Grey's.

looks like gant's people found some snow though uh-oh. Used to supervise a bunch of low-lifes that all had POs (parole officers) visit every few weeks . One kept falling asleep while running a fork lift (company was too cheep to do drug test, had to call the PO in...afraid he'd kill someone ). Didn't last long @ that dump.

Officer Jeremy had me out last night for 5 hours, he wanted to buy his 1st tv set & needed ma to hold his hand (and give him Xmas money ). Finally talked him into a smallish 32 inch HDTV @ 1/2 the price of 37 inch model. Way more involved in that whole HDTV decision than i thought, def. not a techie ha...hope i steered him right. if not, i'm sure i'll hear about it - forever.

Hey everyone. Today is the 14th and officially secret santa season. I'll be checking my mailbox this coming week.

We made it through the ice pretty good last night. The major roads were all clear and dry this morning. Just a little fog but smooth sailing.

I know our packages are going to be coming at different times so this year why don't we say when we get our packages and not tell who it is from. Then when we know everyone has their SS we will tell who it's from and what we got.....sound good????
