test Part 10

I KNEW it was Tony doing the snoring.........:thumbsup2

Morning all.....another icky sticky one here....blech

Glad you are getting the moving under control mac, and YES, a router is the way to go..we have one cause we don't share our computer time well either;) it was a hassle getting it set up, but it was worth the drama...it sometimes konks out if a storm goes thru, and we go thru withdrawal trying to get it reset, but that is what I keep my son around for ;)

More later, enjoy the start of the day everyone

Good morning everyone. Hot and sticky here too. Hope you all have a great day.

i agree mic, i heard the snoring also. at first i thought it was my cat

pam should be coming home this weekend, right?

where's our momma at now?

i'm waiting for the sears repairman. the motor burned out on our dispenser for the freezer for cubes . they told me to expect them between 8 to 1 today.

then off to a doc appointment for one son at 3. think he has.....well...i'll wait until he sees the doc and has a test before i say.

it is thursday and i thought this was momma's favorite day.
nekkid day

indeed, a bleeech-y sorta day:confused3

running outta food, long as we have TP we're a-ok!

no get up & go, think i'm turning into a hermit lol.

mac - who's your provider? we have verizon & had to use theirs (or so they tell us)...best $ i ever spent. Believe we're allowed to have 3 computers hooked up.

Hi everyone....

Mac, hope dr's appt. goes well:hug: re the Sears man. is this the same motor you just had fixed not too long ago?

Yes, getting a router is good thing...we have Verizon DSL, but we bought our own router to use, didn't have to use anything they said :confused3 whatever, they are a marvelous invention, and I'm sure a woman invented them:thumbsup2

Guess I have to put everyone to bed tonight......sleep sweet everyone...tomorrow is FRICKIN' FRIDAY :cool1:

another long day with son.
got home at 8 tonight.

i have sbc att/ for dsl provider.
i didn't know i had to know that for the router.
i was going to the apple store tomorrow for it.
thanks for the heads up.

got the low down on son. his jaw is not broken but some other issue with inflamation. got him a script for pain and inflammation.
he can't eat for 11 days, only liquid. then for 3 weeks after that only soft food with no chewing. stuff like applesauce, anything that would melt in the mouth so to speak. he can't have meat like steak or roast beef for 2 months.

i bet he loses weight. if he does then i should go on that diet too !!

hooray for friday tomorrow.

woo hoo, it is friday.

but then all my days are like friday...

and that's the way i likes it:rolleyes1

sorry to hear of DS's woes-yikes! Lots of milkshakes should help. Hope he doesn't have to drink that Ensure stuff:scared: it's soooo gross.

Bob - what! no chores lined up this weekend?;) Still digging around the web for Sandusky stuff to do. I'm getting the vibe that Put-in-Bay is a bit of a party place? All the hotels picture a jam-packed pool w/swim up bars! Not quite what we're looking for; there's a lighthouse @ Marblehead I'd like to see(believe in state park, you can climb it?). Mapquest insists it's only 1/2 hour down the road & across a causeway from Sandusky area (for some odd reason i'm fascinated by lighthouses).

My DHs working Sat & maybe Sun too, someone's got to bring home the bacon. I drug family to grocery store last night just so they could drag the bottles of pop around. Went to Kmart & bought 24 two liter bottles (blue light special); it better last for a few weeks or they can drink koolaid.

Hope pam's having tons of fun, wonder if she's seeing any of those cool shows? Do they have an amusement park there?

ocm - still recouping from the trip to the homeland?

hungry, wish i had one of those cranberry muffins gant offered yesterday.

Oh yeah, there's no lack of chores to take care of this weekend, including trying to kill off some beetles (the bugs, not the British dudes ;) ) that apparently trying to kill one of our trees.

Put-in-Bay is definitely a party place, especially on the weekends. During the day, it's fairly laid back and mellow, but by nighttime the parties get rolling. :cool1:

I've been to the lighthouse at Marblehead, but I don't remember if you can walk up it or not? We didn't get out of the car that day -- we drove to it, looked, and said, "Hmm, that's cool -- let's go to Cedar Point :thumbsup2 " :rotfl2: Yeah, it's really close to Sandusky -- I don't even think it's a 1/2 hour drive. :)

Afternoon...and for your information Mr. Tony, I didn't need that wake up call, did you see what time my post was made before you loudly yelled "roll out" to all of us?? :goodvibes

WTH is a lighthouse doing in Ohio??;) KS, I like lighthouse's too, my little 1/2 bath is themed with them :goodvibes I've been to many of them in Maine and Mass. Here is my favorite-ist one:

I have this pic framed on my bathroom wall...I bought the photo from a guy..I just love it all covered in ice and snow. I always make it a point to visit this place when we go to Maine...

Yeah, I'll take a cranberry muffin too:banana:

it shows as a blue x inside a blue box.

i'm trying to organize and get rid of junk this weekend.
mr mac and 2 sons went to Kelleys Island for a 3 day weekend.

i told myself i will make a dent in this place before they get back.

hey, how difficult is it to configure a router for 4 computers?

I'm home now, so I will post my own photo's I took of my favorite lighthouse...these should work

Mac, we had a devil of a time getting the router to work, but finally with the help of my son's friend who has a degree in computer sciences ;) we got it working. I think if you have any issues and call the router manufacturer, they can walk you through getting the ISP thingy, and your son's are smart, so they will no doubt figure it out.

i'm paying the dude $140 to come to the house and set it all up for me on monday afternoon.

i can't deal with the stress of screwing it up.
