I agree - if I were that woman, I would want everything to remain completely anonymous - who knows what those people or their friends or whatever are capable of. From another post, someone mentioned possibly cruise ships to be a target? That seems that it could be likely, but who knows.

As for the Illinois connection, this morning they said they were from Bartlett IL, now they say Hanover Park. Does anyone know anything more on that?

since the authorities know it could be a decoy, they are using this "witness" (Is she really who she says she is? Maybe a fed in disguise giving out false info...?) to make it seem like we are all tied up with this case to give the real terrorists a false sense of security?

The breaking through the toll booth thing is just too odd IMO. It's like intentionally calling attention to yourself. Did the hijackers on 9/11 do that or were they very laid back and quiet? I think I remember something about them living it up the night before, but don't remember if they were careful to not stand out or be noticed that morning?

Minnie..the IL couple, from what I've heard are the owners of one of the license plates that were on the black Honda the suspects had. Not the car itself, just the plates...as such, they're being questioned...

Now that I think about it this woman relaying every detail seems odd. *If* I were in her shoes I would not want to have ANY personal info spread across the world.
How awful if it was a hoax. The whole thing is odd, imho.

I would want to be anonymous but that's a great point about maybe she's a fed decoy.

A girl here in the office came back from lunch and said that they had kept a plane from taking off at Hartsfield in Atlanta. They called it back, pulled 2 people off and their luggage and then sent the plane on. I didn't hear it and I don't know why they did this so that's all the info I know.

It does seem REAL weird that these guys would run through a toll booth. Maybe they are decoys trying to get the officials all tied up with them to drop guard. Don't think that's going to happen though.

explosives...why are supposed med students in cars in which the license plates don't match the cars? Why did the dogs indicate explosives? Why are they being "uncooperative"?

Mohammed Atta got in a verbal altercation over a PARKING PLACE at the airport.... could have very well made him late for his flight.... they don't always think straight..... one of the other 9/11 hijackers got a speeding ticket a few days before 9/11.....

They just said on FoxNews that these 3 men (one Jordanian, one Iranian and one Pakistani) are beginning to cooperate but they are getting conflicting info from each. How interesting is that??

I was just looking at a map, and I can't understand why they would have been on I-75 if they were going to Miami. They were really taking the long route from the Atlanta area!
Also, it could be that they HAD bomb materials on them and already dropped it off somewhere before they were stopped and that's why the dogs were alerted.
I just hope they don't let them go until they can be 100% sure that there is nothing going on with them.

If they're so innocent, why wouldn't they cooperate with authorities? I would sure want to be cleared in a hurry and cooperate. Something's fishy. I just wonder how they can get from the northern part of GA all the way to the southern part of FL before being pulled over. Seems weird. If Ms. Stone has a credible story, why did it take so long to act on it?

I was thinking the same thing BWVDenise. Those cars at some point were exposed to bomb materials. Why else would the dogs be alerted? I know there are many elements to bombs but these were regular sedan cars. Under normal circumstances they wouldn't be exposed to these materials.

Everyone is making such great points. Americans have really become more aware of whats going on.

It will be very interesting to see just how close we come to the truth.

Maybe it took a while to find the cars because when they ran the plate #'s it came up with a TOTALLY different make, model and color car??

Weren't they in Macon, not Atlanta? 75 was straight down, and the East West part of it is the shortest cut across FL. Now they're looking for a possible 3rd car.

Actually, Pin Wizard, it didn't take all that long....the incident at Shoney's happened Wednesday night and the cops picked them up early this morning...considering they were just dealing with a BOLO alert, they did quite well. I-75 is very heavily traveled.....and coming from Atlanta (Calhoun actually)that would make sense to go that way to Miami......

I didn't hear about Macon, but they would have gone through Macon if they were on 75 South. Unis Stone heard their conversation at a Canton Shoney's which is north of Atlanta about 40 miles or so. If they stayed on 75 South, they had to come through Atlanta on the 75/85 connector and then took 75 South passed Atlanta. When we go to Disney we take 75 South but I've never been to Miami so I don't know how one would travel to get to there.

I saw Ms. Stone on tv and she said it wasn't Wednesday it was yesterday morning..... and the guys had been talking about a party they had the night before to "celebrate" 9/11..... even if they aren't terrorists.... if that is their attitude I'm glad they were "inconvenienced".

They just said on CNN that those dogs will pick up on any type of explosive scent. The passengers may have had fireworks in the car for the 4th or hunting shells from the past. So the dogs sniffing something doesn't necessarily mean a bomb.

However, the plates stand out the most to me. Why would medical students have fake or non matching plates? Blowing through the toll booth is odd but doesn't necessarily mean they are terrorists. Lots of people blow through toll booths and refuse to pay tolls.

The license plate thing gets me though.

Federal sources said the men could be released as early as today with a ticket for blowing the I-75 toll booth near Naples.
