Teresa's WISH Jouranl (Comments Welcomed)

Beth - Considering I've been counting since last March, I deserve it :earboy2:

I meant to write in my journal yesterday, but neve got a chance. I've been really good the past couple of days and I'm praying for a good weigh in on Tuesday. I did get on the scale yesterday and was down to 174.4, so I'm thinking if I have a good weekend, I could get down to 173, which would get me to 35 pound loss. Tonight is bowling and it'll be tough with those drunk friends of mine :drinking1 :drinking1 and I only have so many points. Working out yesterday was good. Did 20 minutes on weights, 30 minutes on the stairmaster and 60 minutes on the treadmill. I actually jogged for 10 minutes (5 minutes twice) which I haven't done in awhile. Last night was our Bingo Night and I did well with no snacking and drank plenty of water.

Tomorrow we're hanging out (no football though ), so I'm sure I'll be OP

Go Tera! :cheer2: Go Tera! :cheer2: Go Tera! :cheer2:

Here is to a great weigh in tomorrow!

Your cruise sounds wonderful. Good for you. I will also live vicariously through you both. Have a great Sunday. :flower:

Thanks guys!

Well yesterday was a lazy watch-tv-all-day day :teeth: but I stayed OP and drank lots of water. Didn't drink as much Saturday night as I thought (2 1/2 beers), so I was happy about that. Today has been a pretty good day so far. Woke up to snow this morning, so kids were on a delayed schedule. Of course the one day they can sleep in, do they.... :confused3 Got on the scale and weighed 172.5 pounds which I'm thrilled about.  As long as I'm good today, I should be about 172 for tomorrow's WI. Went to the gym and did 25 minutes weights, 20 minutes on the stairmaster and 45 minutes on the ellptical. Went and tanned for 20 minutes and came home. After a shower, DH and I went to Claim Jumper for lunch. I had a side salad and half of a half tuna sandwich, plus plenty of water. Went to the new Super Walmart and picked up some WW snacks. Tonight kids start swimming lessons again and I plan to just walk on the treadmill for a little while. Planning on grilled salmon and some veggies for dinner tonight and hopefully I'll be set tomorrow's WI. I actually can't wait to go to my meeting tomorrow :earseek:

Keeping my fingers crossed for that awesome weigh in tomorrow! :wizard: I'm sure you did it :p

You are an exercise goddess :worship:

Keep up the great work!

Gail

Thanks Gail!!

Jen - Weigh in went well :teeth:

Well today has started off well. Went to the gym and walked 50 minutes on the treadmill before my weigh in, which went well. I'm down 2.6 pounds for a total of 35.6 pounds    I got to claim my new BEAUTIFUL 35 pound clippie :cheer2: :cheer2: I was very excited to lose the .6 from last week plus 2 pounds. I am now at 172.4 pounds and only 3 pounds to get under 170!!!!

Off to bowling in a little while... I will post the rest of my day later.

Oh, here are my measurements for today. I haven't done it since the end of December and it's good to see some change.l

Chest 36 (no change)
Waist 32 (down 1")
Hips 42 (down 1 1/2")
Upper Arm 13 (same)
Outer Thighs 44.5 (down 1 1/2")
Thighs 26 (down 1/2")
Calves 15 (down 1/2")

So that brings me to a total loss of about 26 inches!!!

:thewave: NEW CLIPPIE PARTY! :thewave:

Tera! Congrats on that new 35 pound clippie!! You are cruising through these clippies like there is no tomorrow! :worship: I am so proud of you!! Those 170s are OUTTA here!! Look out 160s!

Congratulations on your beautiful new clippie!! You are doing great!! :Pinkbounc  :cheer2:

Thanks everyone!!! I was very thrilled, especially seeing the difference in my measurements since I started this in August. I still have a long way to go, but I'm getting there.

Today I thought about how much weight I have lost so far and for some reason, 35 just makes it seem so much more real. 5 pounds was nice, 10 pounds a little better. I was happy at 20 pounds and even 25, but I guess when I hit 30, it became real that I was really going to do this and not be fat anymore. I'm only 4.4 pounds away from being at 40 pounds and I'm thinking if I keep it up, I'll be there by the end of this month which would be my 6 month anniversary with WW. Those 160's are sooooo close, I can't wait

35 pounds is VERY real! Just think, you have lost a total of
  • 3 ten pound bags of potatoes
  • 20 sticks of butter
Isn't that amazing to think about? If you don't think so, next time you are at the grocery store, pick up a couple of bags.

I am really proud of you and the progress you are making! You are going to look SMASHING on that cruise!!!!!!

Hi Teresa,

Congrats on the 35 lb. clippie. For me the 30 lb was a big deal because I entered the "gold" series! I can't wait to enter the "blue" series next!!!!!!

Keep up the great work. You are so steady with your weightloss. Its amazing!

Sunny

Thanks Terry - I guess when I wrote it all down, it really started to hit me. I keep telling myself when I do things (roller skating w/ kids, etc) that I'm 35 pounds lighter :earseek: I just can't wait to get to that 40 pound and then that 50 pound mark

Thanks Sunny - I want one of those blue ones too ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: I like the one you have too and hopefully will have that soon :teeth:

Today has been a good day so far. After I got kids off to school, went to the gym and had a really good workout. 30 minutes on weights (really increasing my weights and I feel so much stronger) 20 minutes on the stairmaster, 30 minutes ellptical and 30 minutes on the treadmill. I'm trying to do different things to keep that metobolsim going. Went to tan for 20 minutes and just got done eating a WW meal for lunch. I'm tired, but I feel really good that I did so much today. Kids have swimming lessons tonight and I promised I would swim with them before, so I'm sure I'll get another 30 minutes of exercise in again tonight. Great start to my February exercise challenge :teeth: I really want to weigh in at 169 next week, but know 3.4 pounds will be tough. I'll be there soon enough, so I'm not going to starve myself :earboy2:

Good Lord woman!

You are an exercising machine. 20 minutes on the stairmaster! That alone is worthy of :worship: have fun swimming with the kids tonight.

Take care,\
Beth

Well tonights swimming was a bust. Packed the kids up and headed over to the rec center with a couple of the kids friends and the kids weren't in the pool 10 minutes when someone pooped and they had to close the pool for an hour to clean. This seems to happen so often lately. Needless to say, lessons were cancelled, so we took the kids to McDonalds for dinner and to play for a little while.

Now this is the first time I've been to McDonalds in over 5 months, which I am very proud of. It's not like we did McDonalds all the time, but I just avoided it because there isn't awhole lot of choices there. I ended up ordering a crispy chicken cobb salad... what the heck was I thinking :earseek: I also split a 3 piece crispy chicken strips with DH (he ate more) McDonalds does provide nutrional information (I looked AFTER I ate) and about died when I saw that the salad was 360 calories and like 18 GRAMS OF FAT!!!!! :earseek: :earseek: So after I got home, I calculated my points and it came out to 14 points for those two things. :scared1: :scared1: Thank God I had AP's and had just enough leftover. Guess no dessert for me :guilty: I am now drinking water like a mad woman knowing that the crispy chicken is probably loaded with salt. I'm not going to worry that I went off program for just one meal and will work hard tomorrow.
