*Teresa & Greg-7/1/12*Swan/Fultons/GF Marina-Epcot Character Fun-Updated*2/22*

You are so busy and so organized. I am so happy that you found Greg and that he found you...I was in a similar situation and while I do not know exactly how you felt...I do know how I felt and I would never wish that feeling on anyone:hug: I cannot wait to see your amazing wedding!

Love your pics from your trip. Pooh is my favorite! Every time I see him I want to give him a hug!

Awww O'Hana is my favorite character breakfast too--- except I never get to go there because DH is a picky eater. Boo!

This sounds like a very fun Christmas day!

Love these! I've never been to O'Hana and now I really want to! You got so many great character pictures, it looks like a total blast.

Keep em coming! :thumbsup2

Cool you think I am organized..I think my ideas are organized but maybe not myself personally lol. I am sure you can imagine how I felt as well as I am sure I can imagine how you felt. Thank you for following.

All caught up sweetie!!!!

The bridesmaid necklaces are all gorgeous
I think the first hairstyle would suit you best, but they are all so pretty, it's so hard to choose!!
Loving all the photos!!! I love O'Hana's too - it's a must do every trip!!! I adore the pineapple bread!!!
I have to disagree about Pooh though. He is my least favourite character of all. The 'Winnie the Pooh' thing is something that I just don't get at all, but that is just me!!!!:goodvibes

Stuff I forgot to tell you about Day 4:
After Hidden Mickey Hunting we watched the Castle Lighting Ceremony at the MK before we went to Hollywood Studios! I can not believe I forgot to tell you about this seriously amazing moment. It was the first time we had ever seen it and it was truly magical.

ON TO DAY 5

So this day we were supposed to wake up and go eat at the Whispering Canyon.....that definitely did not happen.:rotfl2:

Instead we got ready which means I actually did my hair and makeup. We also had to get packed up because we were leaving to check out and move over to Pop Century that day.

Why did I do my hair and makeup? Well we were having our engagement pictures done that day. Most of you have seen of these engagement pictures so this is going to be more of a review of Randy Chapman and how things went that day.

But first here are a few pictures and hopefully ones you have not seen:

I love to laugh!

Ok so how did the day go with Randy you may be wondering?

All I can really say is that it went wonderfully! We met up at the Wilderness Lodge as that was going to be our starting place for pictures. We took pictures all around the bushes, trees and waterfalls it was really so much fun. Randy really knows how to direct and it really helps if you can just talk and laugh with your significant other. Randy knew I loved his artsy style so he did a lot of fun shots adjusting his focus and taking pictures through windows and stuff.

My favorite moment was when the security guard from the Wilderness Lodge was about to approach Randy not sure at first who he was and she seemed like she might kick us out. Thankfully she didn't and she let us be.

From here we went to one of Randy's favorite spots. The boardwalk. We got pictures inside the boardwalk and then out on the boardwalk itself. Randy really is very funny and he says really random hilarious things which allowed us to really bond with him. Riding in his car was super fun too! He moves around Disney like he owns the place and while most people know him there are some that don't. His tip to us was this "if you act like you know what you are doing and are confident enough people will just assume you know something they don't and they will leave you alone" HAHAHA :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Pictures on the boardwalk were a blast I tried sliding down rails but it did not really work. We got a lot of really cool shots and this is where Duffy the Jedi bear appeared!

We ended up spending like 3 hours with Randy and it was wonderful. We can not wait for the wedding and the bridal portrait pictures because we just want to spend some more time with him.

After the engagement session we needed to eat so we ate at the Pizza Window and surprisingly it was very good and I really enjoyed it. I do not remember if from here we went to Epcot or not I think we may have just gone back to Pop. I do not have a whole lot of pictures from this day because of the engagement session and part of me feels like we went to Pop got checked in and we took a nice long comfy nap.

The next pictures I have show us at dinner at the Crystal Palace. I remember I was not feeling too well and my stomach was kind of acting up. I remember just wanting to eat simple foods that night. Well the food at the crystal palace for dinner cured me of any stomach problems I was having. I loved my chicken nuggets, veggies and rice!

From there we rode some rides I got on It's A small world for the first and last time of my life. I Loathe the song and it was not so bad for most of the ride but the end was torture! I always run by it when I am walking because I don't want to hear the song.

Then I tried to pull the sword out of the stone. I have pictures of all us this but they are not loaded into my photo bucket right now. When we finally got back to Pop we took a picture of me in Santa's chair and then it was time to go to sleep.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the WL engagement pics, I was just looking at them on Randy's site the other day to get a better idea of our location. I can't imagine a more perfect place to spend your first Christmas together than WDW. :goodvibes

Do I spy a UT shirt on Greg? Drew and I kind of think the whole UT rivalry thing out here (Oklahoma) is really funny, if not borderline absurd.

I can't wait to read more!

I love all of those e-pics too! Not a bad one in the bunch!
Wilderness Lodge is still my favorite, I'm so jealous you own there!
The POP tree is so pretty too! I wanna go back for Christmas!!! Eeek!

You guys are SO cute!
I was going to say your legs look LOOOONGGG in that picture lol
We had the same issue with the security guard when we were at Wilderness Lodge lol but we were like in the middle of the bushes so I bet it looked weird lol.

BTW, Winnie the Pooh and crew are know to have healing powers....FACT! lol

How can you LOATHE IASW? lol It is such a cute ride!!! :rolleyes1:sad2: I would get tired of it too by the end though!

I don't know if you read my reply to you on my PJ but We are doing a big group trip to MK on July 12th with our wedding guests for my birthday and it would be cool to potentially meet up with you guys! Also, feel free to come by the DP on the 11th (UK Lochside) and crash it...I will let the door guy know you're cool :cool2:

Also, Thank you SO much for your reservation numbers. Nick and I both agreed that it was very cool of you guys to help us out like that and we decided that, since you guys will be on your honeymoon, you might be getting a little gift coming to you ;)

So we are now on day 6 which is December 27th, 2011 this was the day I was finally going to get to eat at Chef Mickey's. This was a dream for me and we had one of the last breakfast times of the day.

I had such a wonderful time and I really enjoyed my food. The character pictures are not super great but here are some of them anyway.

With Donald Duck first pictures with him for both of us:

After this breakfast we went to Epcot and rode Mission Space, Saw the Lion King land show, Watched Captain EO for the first time ever and rode Figment for the first time ever. It was rainy this day and we took some time doing some stuff in the innovations world and we took character pictures in the Disney Rewards VISA members spot.

I do not remember much else on this day and I don't have any more pictures to prove what we did. Knowing us we wandered around to different parks or wandered around at resorts.

I do think this day though was the day that we had dinner at Teppan Edo which was pretty cool but I like our teppanyaki place here in Texas better.

Day 7 December 28th and our last and final day

We slept in and packed up. We went to Hollywood Studios for our last day before our flight and rode Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania and Rock n Roller Coaster from there we took some photo pass pictures then ate at 50's prime time.

This was Greg's first time but we had a blast and they brought me a shake and big giant plate of fries because I asked for fries on the side. If you ever do that beware they will give you A LOT of fries.

We did some last minute vinylmation shopping and Greg bought me my stuffed Stitch. Then it was time to be headed back to Pop to get our bags out of holding and hop on the Magical Express.

It was sad to know that our trip was over but it was comforting to know that we would be going back soon and that time it would be for our Wedding.

Well I finally managed to complete the trip report! HOORAY!

**What I learned for my next trip report**

-Carry a journal in your bag with you, it can be a small one to write down where you go and what you do in short bullets
-keep updates on ADR changes
-Take pictures every day in case you forgot where you were
-when taking pictures end a day with a blank picture to show you are changing days

I can guarantee I will do this stuff so that the wedding trip won't lost its luster because I will forget what we did for 2 weeks if I don't write it down

Hope you enjoyed it

Teresa

You are making me want to book more another photo session with Randy!

I really enjoyed reading your TR (I had to backtrack a bit to read the beginning!). Even after going to Disney many times I've yet to go at Christmas and it looks like you guys had a fantastic time!

Great tips! I love the ideas for future trips to help with your TR. I usually can only tell what happened on what day by whatever outfit I'm wearing ;)

So glad you loved your engagement shoot. It's such a comfort to know that your photographer puts you at ease! We'll need all the help we can get keeping calm on the big day!

Wow! You guys do a lot of character meals: you're a girl after Jennifer's heart! :goodvibes I love 50's Prime Time too. I'm so sad that you never got to experience the original Journey into Imagination... I ride it just to pretend that I'm in the mid-90s!

All in all though, it sounds like a great trip! Having a journal with bullet points definitely helps; I know I'd be lost without mine. And you'll be back pretty soon!!

Your pictures with Randy are gorgeous! Someday I'd like to do anniversary pictures or something with him. He is so talented.

Your trip looks like a ton of fun! I love all of the character pictures. I've never been to Chef Mickey's. And it sounds like you had a number of firsts this trip! It is always fun to try a ride you haven't done before.

I can't wait to record the future TR since writing that I have come up with more ideas to help me keep track of things.

I love character meals they are my favorites. Plus I LOVE breakfast so the cheapest time for characters meals is at breakfast so that is when we usually go to them. Plus Greg and I have a deal he gets his fancy restaurants as long as I get my characters.

I can not wait to get back and use my trip recording techniques. I will use the time we are waiting in line or sitting to eat to make sure I keep things recorded.

The firsts on the trip were wonderful and yes the first time to ride rides or eat somewhere is always awesome. Unless it is it's a small world.

So this post is for all the disbrides that may want to do a room block but are not DFTW brides or even for DFTW brides that don't want to deal with the wedding block.

I have been asked about how I got such good prices on park tickets and also how I got such good room rates. So this post is the information for you guys so you can make the best choices for yourself.

Room Block Company: Disney Vacation Groups, Disney Destinations
Contact Info: disneyvacationgroups.com I suggest that you go to the website and fill out their contact form before you call

My room block info:
All Star Movies- $115.20
Coronado Springs- $151.20
Boardwalk Inn- $297.90

Group Ticket Base Prices Adults:
2 Day:161.03
3 Day:222.38
4 Day:232.92
Group Ticket Park Hopper Prices Adults:
2 Day:213.75
3 Day:275.09
4 Day:285.64
They offer more days than this but this is just an example. Included when the guests purchase a group ticket is 1 visit to one of the following. Disney Quest, blizzard beach, typhoon lagoon, wide world of sports, oak trails golf course

So what this boils down to is that I am a swan bride and I went through the group booking process to make a room block and get discounted tickets. I have heard from DFTW brides that my ticket prices are better. The reason for this is because it is a convention rate or a group rate I believe as opposed to a wedding rate that is offered by DFTW.

I am not sure if this helps anyone but I hope it will.

****Other Wedding News****

- Rehearsal dinner has been booked at Portobello's. We will have about 25 people depending on who comes to the wedding

- The invitation printed proof was received and approved, the invitations have now been purchased and hopefully will be printed today or tomorrow and shipped

- Still trying to decide what I want to do for my girls. I do not have a whole lot of extra money so I can not do what everyone else is doing but I would like to give them necklaces and maybe a pair of flip flops in a bag or something with a card thanking them

-Stamps, return address labels and monogram stickers have been purchased from zazzle should be here next week so I can put my invitations together and mail them.

- I need to finish getting the last piece for the pin trading favors and I can design the personal card that will explain pin trading

There are a lot of other things to do but this is where I am at the moment.

Have a great day

Teresa
