Very cool invites! I like to meal choices, so cute!

You are staying at 4 different resorts for your honeymoon?? That is a lot of packing and moving but it is nice that you will get to have 4 different mini vacations.

*The meal choices on the response cards were all victoria she knows my style!
*It is quite a bit of moving but we were not going to shorten our honeymoon stay because of it we were very determined

Your invites are so fun!! I think my favorite part is the meal choices!! Is that crab, chicken, and another type of fish? too funny!!

If you dont mind my asking, did you set up something separate for group tickets or are those the prices with the 20% off and I just don't realize it?

Also, not sure if you wanted it that way, but they say 11 o'clock in the afternoon... I'm sure you're aware 11 is before noon, so they would traditionally say 11 o'clock in the morning? Assuming your guests won't think you're getting married at 11 o'clock at night! :

You're going to have so much fun at the resorts you chose! And your invitations look amazing. I really love the logo and the subtle paisley. A card with your registry info would probably be helpful just as a reminder to your guests.

I really like the invites!!! Victoria did an amazing job and those colours go so well together! I love the little icons of the chicken, the crab, and the fish When are you going to mail them out??

I am working to get them mailed out around the first few days of april with a may 15th rsvp date. All the pieces have been ordered to make the invitations i am just waiting on the sample of the printing then the final print.

I love your invites! And great room choices: although, I hope you like Bay Lake Tower more than I did!

Teresa all your plans look awesome. Love the invites, they sort of remind me of the guide maps of the park which I save all the time. Animal Kindgdom is definitely a resort that I would love to stay at some point in my vacationing travels.!!! Sounds like a little fun to hotel hop!

Many of you know me better from the Facebook group. I have had a really hard day today and there has been a lot that has been going through my head. I know there are things to update you on in regards to the wedding but right now I feel I need to write this. I can really only write this here because this group of people is the only group that I think will truly understand.

If you want to get to know me better than continue reading. If not then that is ok too.

In april of 2011 my boyfriend of 2 years ended our relationship very abruptly when he came home one day. It was a devastating blow to me because I had made a lot of sacrifices to be with him. Two of these sacrifices were resolving to the idea that I would never get married because he wanted nothing to do with that, and that I would never have a family because he just wanted to travel the world and could not bear the thought of kids. I had come to solid understanding of this and being afraid I would never find anyone else I stayed in the relationship and just came to terms with it.

When he ended it in april I was the most devastated I have ever been after a break up I did not eat for days and just tried to find a way to hold on to him somehow even if it was just a friendship. We had been living together so we stayed that way and again I compromised myself just to have a little happiness.

At the end of May I made the decision that I was going to Disney World and I was going alone. I had wanted to go for star wars weekends again but he had not wanted to go and now I figured it was my chance. So I booked a flight and a room at all star movies and I decided I was going.

The disboards gave me a great place to go to I had discovered them back in 2010 when I had gone to disney with his family and him. I found the adults and solos traveler boards and quickly started making some friends. To my astonishment a guy by the SN of audipolo said he was going the same time as me and a friendship quickly started. Many of you may recognize that handle...it was Greg.

Many of you have read the story of how we met at the beginning of this PJ and if you haven't it is quite the story. My purpose of writing this because of how I am feeling right now.

Almost 9 months later I am engaged and getting married.

Your life can change so quickly and often it happens when you are not even expecting it. Greg has taken me to places that I have never gone before emotionally and physically. The first time I ever went to Disney was when I was 14 and it was for a high school orchestra trip. I never got to go as a child I was not that fortunate. The next time would be 10 years later. The next time would be on a solo trip I paid for on my own and it was probably the most life changing decision I ever made. Now as of March 19th, 2012 I have been to disney 5 times. Greg made it possible for me to go to the wonderland of my dreams 3 times in one year. He made it possible for me to see mickey's not so scary halloween party and christmas at disney all in one year. He has not made me pay for a dime any of the times that we have gone and has always said you are just going to enjoy being at disney and I will make sure you have the time of your life.

As the bad day that I had today unfolded I realized that if I did not have him then I would not be where I am today. The happiness that I have had has been because of him. I have found myself again and I can not believe that I am finally going to get my dreams. With Greg I do not have to sacrifice my dreams and I am going to have a family and I am going to be able to get married. Not only am I getting married but I am getting married at my favorite place in the world.

Greg has given me the gift of happiness and I will forever be grateful. He has been my best friend and has given of himself to make me smile. He never gives up on me and he always has my back. As he says...he will always be in my corner. The best part about Greg is that he knew all the previous relationship stuff was very fresh and he knew that when my ex left that he left me with a lot of his stuff and in a place that had once belonged to me an my ex. Greg still willingly moved to Texas and into that place. He never complained all he asked was that when it was time that we get a place of our own. He has listened to me go through the process of getting over my past relationship and has loved me all through that. Some people may say I should have taken time but I fell in love, a real love I never knew existed when I met Greg. I was afraid if I did not act on it that I would lose it.

We are finally in our own place now and as I have been writing this and working through my feelings he has been building our entertainment center and loving every minute of it. We have our cat and our life now and I can not wait to marry the man of my dreams in 3 months.

Greg has truly been my knight in shining armor and I am the girl that always said I never needed one. He saved me that day on June 4th, 2011 when we met and he has continued to keep me afloat ever since.

I am so grateful for him and if it were not for him I would not have all the wonderful things I have now. I could make a list but I am sure you guys know what I mean.

So on those days that are filled with grief and the days when everything looks so gloomy you feel like Eeyore just look around you and find the things that you are thankful for. I am thankful for my home with my wonderful husband because we decided to call each other husband and wife now to get used to it.

Today I was the most depressed that I have been in a while and the reason I am here able to write this and express myself is because of the wonderful man that I am about to marry. I hope all your fiancés and husbands do the same thing for you that Greg does for me.

I understand a great deal of where you're coming from. Doug came into my life after four years of an abusive relationship. It's amazing how timing can be SO perfect and things can just fall right into place after the most difficult times in life.

Randy Chapman and I spoke today and here is our potential wedding day timeline:
Getting ready shots not sure what time and first look not sure whether at old key west or swan and pictures with bridal party
11am-1130am: Ceremony
1130am-12pm: family pictures
12pm-12:25pm: Bride and Groom at swan
12:35-12:55pm: Bride and Groom at DTD
1-4pm: Reception
9:30pm-10:30pm: Dessert Party at GF Marina

Also we discussed bridal portraits and we are all set for July 12th.

We will meet at 9:30am at the Animal Kingdom Lodge which is where we will be staying and checking out of on that day.
1st stop: All Star Movies, making sure to hit the love bug and fantasia 2000 donald and daisy
2nd Stop: Polynesian for my only chance to get pictures of me in my wedding dress with the castle and then some other romantic shots and some monorail pictures
3rd Stop: Contemporary Resort for pictures at the marina where greg proposed and then some other awesome shots around the resort.

We will be taking pictures for 2-3 hours and he is only charging me $250 which is freaking amazing.

He wants me to bring a prop to take pictures with that can be turned into thank you cards so I said ok I can do that. He also sounded very excited about doing pictures at the all stars for a wedding!

Randy Chapman is simply an amazing man and I am so glad he is our photographer...maybe I can get a picture with the awesome BLT fountain since I will be checking in there that day!

Only drawback I need to move my 1900 Park Fare reservation now.

Aww girl I am so sorry you had a rough weekend too. I am glad that this post was able to help you. That was kind of the idea behind it. I knew that I could not be the only one going through rough times I mean come on our lives are not fairy tales even though we are all pretty pretty princesses as Jackie would say. I hope counting your blessings will help you. I learned today that distractions are great.

I had a question: Can S&D brides have an in-park photoshoot in their bridal attire? I thought I remembered reading somewhere that they could do Epcot, DHS and AK just not MK, but I don't know if I misheard/misunderstood.

We can have in park shoots in our attire for Epcot, DHS and AK but for me that is out of the question.

1. I can not stand disney photography and how they jack around with their customers. the good stories are so few and far between.

2. I don't like that I can not pick my photographer and I have to wait to be assigned

3. I do not like Dara when I first started working with her she was not very kind.

4. The pricing structure is outrageous and I don't agree with what they charge for what you get. For instance for $250 I will get 3 hours of shooting with all my images on disc in color and black and white and I will get 12-15 touched up edited images. Way more worth it.

But had I been hell bent on getting in park pictures then I would have really tried to do it.

OMG Jilian you are so right. I am so glad you said what you said because you are 100% right. I really am growing emotionally and it is definitely amazing that I can find that silver lining I have always had trouble with that in the past.
