In April DD was just 6 1/2 months, Teppan Edo did put a high chair to the side for her, but it was just ' squeezed' in, not at an actual ' spot ' at the grill. I had made a reservation for 4 too. Nbd, as she didn't stay in the high chair, and was mostly on my lap anyway. This trip DD will be almost 13 months, I did once again include her in the reservation count.....will they give her a actual ' spot' this time. Last time she wouldn't have been able to eat at the table even if we had wanted her to given the way the high chair was squeezed in. She will DEFINITELY be eating this time, so is this something I need to request? Or will they not give her a spot since she is sharing from our meals? Thank you!

When you check in just let the hostess know that you would like to be sure that the high chair is pulled up to the table for the baby to be able to eat as well. And if there are any issues when seated then ask for a manager. They should have treated the baby as a 4th seat previously but likely they didn’t because they realized how young she was or because you had an inexperienced hostess. Just make your wishes clear at check in.

Thank you for the information. I will let them know at check in then!
Last year we ate at Teppan Edo when my daughter was just over 2. She was in a high chair and there was room for her to be at the table even though she was technically the ninth person. We were a party of 5, there was a party of 3 and a single. There was plenty of room for her, she was just a little low for the table. It still worked.
