Teppan Edo or Coral Reef?

We did both during our last trip, and let's just put it this way..... We have ADRs for Teppan Edo again next week, and not Coral Reef :thumbsup2

We were not at all impressed by any aspect of Coral Reef, the food, the service, nothing. Teppan Edo was good, I am not going to say it is "out of this world", but decent for what/where it is- good service, and the kids really enjoyed it. Now granted, we LOVE Japanese style steak-houses normally anyway, and have kind of become accustomed to our favorites. If this is something that you don't experience regularly at home, I would say you will like it all the more.

You will find a lot of mixed reviews on Coral Reef, but we have had nothing but good experiences there. Now for both of our meals we had good seats up close to the tank, so I'm sure we would appreciate it less if we had bad tables.

My only knock on Teppan Edo is that we have a bunch of places that are just like it around here. When we eat at WDW, we try to experience things we can't do at home.
