Temporary DDE card?

I've heard that some restaurants don't take the temporary DDE card. Is there a list of ones that don't

That's a new one to me. I had no problem using it back in July/August at about a dozen or so places.

I also just checked allears.net and it doesn't say anything about the temp card being an issue anywhere.

The temp card is accepted everywhere DDE is accepted. When using the temporary card, you should be prepared to show photo ID if requested. In my experience using the temp card, the servers or CM's barely even glanced at it and just deducted the 20%.

I used my Temp card all last week with no problems, SciFi, Calli Grill, Ohana and Bistro de Paris..
(They misspelled my name on my permenent card and had to reissue me a temp one the week before we left.)

I'll add that we only had a temp DDE card last March, used it all week long and never had a problem.

It used to be a problem before they went to the current procedure. They would e-mail a letter to you in MSWord that was not locked and you would print it out. There were people who would change names and/or dates and misuse the letters.

Now it is a physical card with a reflective tape on it that cannot be (easily) duplicated or modified.

You shouldn't have any problem. We also used our temporary DDE last year for a few meals before we got our permanent one.

We were there in Dec. for a whole week and never had a problem with our temp. card.

No prob here with a temp card either, are you getting mixed up with the fact some resturants don't take DDE at al.
