Temperature inside rooms during the Fall?

So, maybe this is silly, but can't find the answer to this: I'm cruising in the Fall on the Dover cruise and I tend to think of cruises as hot, tropical and sunny. I've got the outside weather figured out, but what about inside the dining rooms, movies, shows, etc? I'm generally cold natured and even have a sweater in the summer, so should I expect to wear long or short sleeves, or just go with short sleeves and a sweater?

I always bring sweaters with me. They tend to keep the inside areas (especially the staterooms) cooler. I guess they’re trying to compensate for the warmer outside air?

There is a thermostat in each cabin. You can control how warm/cold the cabin is or completely turn it off (way to stuffy).

I love a cold stateroom; I just don’t like being cold in theatres. But I guess too cold is better than too hot.

I've always found the inside temperatures on cruise lines (any cruise line) to be cooler than I like (regardless of time of year/itinerary). I always have a sweater or wrap with me.

Bring sweaters. You can always take them off.

I always, even on warm cruises, bring a fleece/wrap/jacket/sweater/something warmer. The theatres are generally kept quite cool because, when filled, all those bodies create a lot of heat. Unfortunately, when they are sparsely populated, it can be freezing especially if you sit under where the air comes blasting out. Also, on deck when the ship is moving, even in the Caribbean, it's cold especially after dark.

One thing I really loved on our Baltic cruise was that they had blankets on all of the deck chairs and where they keep the extra towels. Sometimes it was just too cold for me to sit on deck even when sunny, but perfect with a little blanket over my shoulders. DH was fine - I think he has no temperature receptors on his skin. I didn't feel like hauling around a jacket with me on the ship when I was going to sit outside so the blankets were just great. I would guess that might also be the case with any cruise going out of Dover.
