For a different perspective - the fact that it is more like home and we don't have anyone coming in during the day was a selling point for us. I'd rather make the bed myself and wash the towels than have housekeeping coming in during the day. When we are staying DVC we really do treat it like home so if that means we want to go back mid-day to just crash we do it and don't worry about if the maid has been there or not.
