Oooooook..... Im just talking about hand holding here geez lol
... Dont you make me cry!!!!!...that was really sweet!DH and I went to WDW three times before we were married (we were together seven years before we tied the knot) so we still have no memories as a married couple there. The next trip is 2018 becase he is an Avatar fan and not a MK fan. OP, you will be creating memories that will live with you forever. Remember, the simplest ones can be the best. Our honeymoon was a cross country driving trip to National Parks. We pretty much "winged it". Some of our best memories are the simple laughs we got from weird spots we stopped or some silly mistake we made with our directions and got lost. Your memories will be precious and can't be re-created. Make the most of them but don't try to plan them too much. They happen...because you love eachother and you will never forget.
Just be careful out there - one of my children was conceived on a vacation at Walt Disney World!
I agree with eating at the California Grill and watching the fireworks from the rooftop. We did that for our 1 year anniversary and it was amazing! And they gave us complimentary champagne which was the cherry on top of a romantic evening
We went on our honeymoon at WDW in 2009 and our favorite restaurant experience was at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. They had personalized menus for us that said "Congratulations Chris and Kaitlin" on the top and we were able to take them home with us. The dinner was OUTSTANDING, both our steaks were perfect. And they gave us free dessert with Congratulations written in chocolate sauce on the plate.
The carriage ride through POR was also very romantic. We loved it. We also enjoyed walking around the countries at Epcot and sample a different wine or beer at each country. We also had the Memory Maker so we had pictures taken at a few romantic spots in Epcot where they had us pose together and kiss and stuff. It was fun and we had the pictures to keep too.
We like doing new experiences together so on our honeymoon we did surf lessons at Typhoon Lagoon. It is at like 5 or 6am before the park opens but it's all in the wave pool with certified surfing instructors. It was so much fun and there are photographers to get action shots which was awesome! We also did the Dolphins in Depth tour at Epcot and got to be in the water with the dolphins and the Animal Kingdom backstage tour (I can't remember the official title)... my husband got a surprise kiss from a giraffe!
There's nothing romantic about Le Cellier at all. The tables are so close together, you could reach out and comfortably put your arm around the person at the next table. No joke.Glad to know that Le Cellier can be loud- neither of us have ever been and we weren't sure of the atmosphere. May end up skipping that one! DF can get very overwhelmed and anxious without quiet breaks during the day, and for us that break is usually a nice long meal at a quiet place.
Correct. You wont be able to see any fireworks at all from inside the castle. There is no view *at all* from CRT. You'll only hear the fireworks, not see any of them.

Hello! I am newly engaged (5/18/16 during Illuminations) and we are planning a WDW wedding and honeymoon! I am a WDW veteran, but I've really only ever been on family vacations- not much romance!! Even our engagement trip was with my parents, aunt, brothers, and fiancee's 6-year-old- so not much time for romantic things!
So what are your favorite experiences? So far I have California Grill/Wishes from the Contemporary, Cinderella's Table during fireworks, couples' massage the day before the wedding, Le Cellier, San Angel Inn, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, an evening at the Boardwalk, Illuminations Dessert Party (since we got engaged during that show! it is now very special to us) and a carriage ride at POR or FW as possibilities. I'm willing to spend a little money, but nothing too outrageous!
We will be there in December 2017 and staying at the Yacht Club.
Thanks!
Honestly, I think you'll find some of your most romantic moments are the ones you don't plan for.
Also, not to brag, but I took great care in customizing her ring. As Disney is all about storytelling, I felt I had to have her ring tell a story. Six diamonds on the side of the band to represent the 6 months that we talked before we dated. 2 bigger diamonds next to the 6 to represent the 2 years we dated. Another diamond next to the 2 big ones for a Hidden Mickey, and the center stone is .71 karate because Walt Disney World opened in 1971.
Not gonna lie, kinda jealous. Don't get me wrong, I love my hubby and I picked out the ring so I'm totally cool with it, but that ring is gorgeous and the thought you put into it is just so freaking awesome. She definitely got a keeper lol.I proposed to my now fiancee at the California Grill this past Valentines Day. California Grill was where we exchanged our first "I love you"s so I knew it was going to be there. I built a miniature version of an Adventure Book as a ring box. I took advantage of the California Grill proposal package, where they bring the bring box out on a silver platter with a customized glass slipper. It was fantastic.

All the pictures I have of the ring box are too large to upload, so I'll just drop some pictures of the ring.
