We are headed to Disney in less than two weeks ~whoo hoo!! And even though I don't plan our counter service meals, I do make copies of menu's on possible choices. It makes it easier for us to decide when we are there. I am looking for some favorites at the parks and/or downtown disney. We are not a picky family. We can't on the day we have no adr's planned to hit Epcot and try some counter services around the world. Thanks for your help!

For CS meals - These are the ones on my list:

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons, Japan & Morocco
MK - Pecos Bills & Columbia Harbor House
AK - Flametree

Sunshine Seasons (Epcot) and Columbia Harbor House (MK) are our two hands down favorite CS stops! :) The hummus sandwich at CHH and the turkey & muenster sandwich at SS are my must haves. :teeth:

Earl of Sandwich is our favorite at Downtown Disney. Lots of yummy food at relatively reasonable prices.

Epcot - Sommerfest (Germany) and the English Pavilion
DTD - Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express.

We have always enjoyed Columbia Harbor House at the Magic Kingdom, but this year wanted to try something new. We went to Cosmic Rays and REALLY liked it (I did a review on the reviews page under 25th Anniversary Reviews Continued). At Epcot we like Sunshine Seasons and at Animal Kingdom we've always loved Flame Tree Barbecue (although this year I was disappointed with the ribs and will stick to the pulled pork as my DH did). As for the Studios, don't eat CS there at all--we go back to our resort and eat at the Pepper Market for CS when we are at the Studios.

Epcot- Sunshine Seasons and Electric Umbrella
MK- Cosmic Rays
HS-Backlot Express and ABC Commissary
AK- Yak and Yeti

Downtown Disney: Wolfgang Pucks Express and Earl of Sandwich

MK: Columbia Harbor House and Pecos Bills

AK: Pizzafari (for their sandwiches not pizza) and Flame Tree BBQ.

Epcot: Yakitori House and Sunshine Seasons

MGM Studios: ABC Commissary (the Cuban sandwiches are really good).

My favorite cs anywhere, Artist's Palette at SSR.

at the risk of repeating what so many have said...

MK Columbia Harbor House
Epcot Japan
AK Pizzafari (hot deli sandwiches - YUM)
MGM Backlot

Port Orleans Riverside Food Court

Downtown Disney - Earl of Sandwich

enjoy!:woohoo:

Columbia Harbor House in the MK has the best tuna sandwich I've ever had. I even had it twice on our last trip.

I also like Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. It has a great variety and it isn't all the fried food that you typically get everywhere else.

Have a great time! :)

You are going to be there during the food & wine festival, are you planning to eat at the F&W kiosk?

We are on the dining plan. If you eat at a f & W kiosk is that a counter service or will they take snack credits? We never took advantage of these the last time we were there.

I see Wolfgang's Express, I copied the menu for here in case we wanted to go to Downtown Disney to try it. So, does everyone really like it?

I copied Japan's, Morroco's and England's menu's for the world showcase. We are eating at Biergarten, so I don't want Germany cs and we have eaten in China and did enjoy it. Thanks for all of the opinions.

Wolfgang Puck at downtown Disney is one of our favorites! The BBQ Chicken salad is excellent as is the Creme Brule! We also love Earl of Sandwich at Dowtown Disney! In the parks we love Tangerine Cafe in Epcot, Columbia Harbour House in MK, Pizzafari in AK, and Pizza Planet in DS!:rotfl:

I started answering this ... and then I realized who the OP is :wave2:

We love Pecos Bills & Columbia Harbor House at the MK and the fish & chips in England at Epcot. Another favorite for DH, DS, and DD (but not for me ;) ) is the cantina in Mexico. We've never found a place we love at the Studios, and for some reason we always end up snacking at the Animal Kingdom. I'm not sure we've ever had a counter service meal there.

MK - Columbia Harbor House OR Pecos Bills
HS - Rosie's Cafe
Epcot- Elec Umbrella

I find it hard to believe that Wolfgang Puck Express is a counter service. It's an absolute must stop for us. One of our new favorites is Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. Not only are the lattes included for the beverages, but the desserts are awesome!!!

My absolute favorite CS meal is the salmon at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. You get to pick two sides and I always get mashed potatoes and salad... YUM!!! They have VERY good desserts too!

I used to also love the half sandwich and soup at Columbia Harbour House in the Magic Kingdom, but they don't offer this option anymore. Their tuna sandwich is really good, and the clam chowder is way better than I would expect from most restaurants let alone a CS restaurant.

I used to love the Salmon at Tusker House too, but that is not an option anymore either... last time we tried Pizzafari and I loved the Italian Sandwich... delish!

The selections at the F&W kioski are a snack credit on the DDP. Not sure if they're all included though.
